It appears that for Ritsuki story you can buy the remedy BEFORE asking if the alchemist gal has it, which causes the event to break entirely, leaving you with two blank options that do nothing when you interact with Ritsuki's building after that.
Very unique and fun game with nice look. I really hope there will be more Lois and MC TF content in general that doesn't require you to take a giant L through lol.
