Thank you!!! Creating an intrigue is not a trivial task, so I'm hoping to do well. There are a few clues in the game already, though they are probably more obvious in retrospect 😏

Thank you so much! I'd start something if I knew how to pivot the donations into something like art commissions directly :D For now, there is none, but I appreciate the thought!
I'd still like to release a codex update for a few things relevant to the currently published game content (and in a more fun format, too); but as to anything from Ch. 2 coming out in 2025, I cannot say yet.
Thank you so much!! I've compiled a description masterpost on the tumblr development blog: appearances. There's some character art on the blog, too, you can decide if it helps with your interpretation or might interfere with it, so I'll share a link within a link within a link to the art so that you won't accidentally peek it.
I'm so happy you liked the update and thank you for reporting the issue! You're not the only one to run into it, and it will be fixed with a patch in the next few days. If you pick a different option just there, you should be able to progress in the meantime, or you can wait for the patch if you want 😊
Thank you so much, I'm frankly just speechless ❤ This was incredibly validating to read and absorb! You have touched upon so many aspects of writing that I am super conscious about: descriptions, pacing, lore dumps and absence thereof, and of course, emotional beats, so I'm just here kicking my feet over the fact that most of it is landing, it seems? Yay!
I appreciate you taking the time to communicate all this, it made me feel so seen for what I'm trying to achieve with this story!
As I say this, I'm steadily progressing with the next bit of the game, so I hope you enjoy it when it is published!
Thank you again ❤
From what I've seen, this error means that the game is either accessed through an anonymous/incognito tab, or cookies are disabled on the webpage.
The engine that the game runs on requires cookies to keep track of the playthrough, so enabling them would be a fix with this and any future interactive fiction games you decide to try :)
I haven't removed anything or changed the code in any of the previous material, so my guess is that you made a few different choices this time, and it affected which scenes you saw. If anything, I plan to extend some past scenes, including the first in-game encounter with the Gray Regent (though that is still a work-in-progress parallel to the main game development). Thank you!
Thank you for the lovely message and for bringing the case for touch-starved options to my attention! I think it would have become a natural extension for the touch-averse MCs as the story allows for them to be more...vulnerable with other characters, but this makes me approach it more consciously. So yes, I can see it as an option within future scenes.
Oof, that sounds bad. Do you mind telling me which exact app you mean here? I might need to add it to the testing list in the future if it behaves so differently from the desktop/phone browsers I've ran the game with.
I'll change it to the setting option asap. Thanks for letting me know!
Edit: I have updated the game with the option to disable save slot naming, though it is on by default. You can change it in the Settings panel from the left-side bar, top option:

Thank you for your concern! I'm very much working on it still and it's getting continued. You can find the official (I guess?) development blog here, it features upcoming update dates, some additional character and world info, and even (currently only) three character arts for both Y's and Arthur!
