A few questions about the game.
1. What does "Gather" do at the tavern? I thought it might auto spawn heroes, but it doesn't.
2. Why does equipment have such a low effect on Power? A naked lvl 100 hero has 9k power but fully equipped with Epic and legendary stuff only gets him up to 12k. This seems strange and doesn't make sense.
3. Power requirements for expeditions seems too high after a while. Needing way more than is possible at the moment.
4. I get quests to buy enchantment materials, but the store doesn't sell any. Was this intentional?
5. Will you have a discord with regular updates?
Overall impressed, the gameplay is good, and I understand it is still a Beta.
This is really good for AI, but needs more to it.
Slower progress to getting to higher studio levels such as A, AA, AAA and such, while also have a prestige system with upgrades.
Needs more base upgrades, and the ability to level up upgrades.
A "Retire Franchise" option so you can create new ones without the list becoming too long.
Remove the cap on Fans gained per release, and instead of freelance for idle income, it could be "Merchandising" based on Fans
Theres really a whole lot you can do with this as a base, and I look forward to see if you go further with it.
I love the fact, the AI chatbots actually respond properly and the conversations feel genuine. However, in the first city, theres a whole plot around this Gildar guy, but I have no way of going to the shadow district, or noble district or anywhere at all. Kinda of upsetting, but understandable if it isn't implemented yet.
Could be good, but Population doesn't grow no matter how much food you're making per round, gold is impossible to maintain in the long run due to no population growth for taxes. Then if your mercs die, it's impossible to replace them without the gold, so it's just game over. Also several times, i'd get item drops from battles, but would never get the chance to loot them.
Having the merchant with almost no gold to buy your wares is also really bad. I sell 5 wood then he's broke forever.
Annnd the conspiracy theorist nutjob has arrived. He completely acknowledged it. It's not an AI coded game, He just used some AI art. People like you have been screaming for decades about Russia and China's economy, yet nothing has happened nor will it. The US's economy is just as bad as theirs's right now, and since they're the big 3 in the world, I guess everyone is doing just fine. AI in the military is not going to lead to us all getting nuked. Take your tin foil hat off, and learn to enjoy life more. From cars, to computers, from cell phones to robots. Every time a new technology emerges, there's always people like you to cry and scream about how it'll destroy us all, yet eventually it becomes a normal part of our daily lives. Lay off the drugs, put the foil away, and get some help.
It's a video game, not a work of art. It's meant to entertain you, not enlighten you. The very basis of your "principle" is flawed. Some of you people are out here living in your own little fantasy worlds, thinking everyone else need to do the maximum amount of effort and sacrifice just to make you happy. If an indie dev can't afford something and uses AI for it, then so be it. It's for the dev to gain some coding experience to be able make better games in the future, not to waste massive amounts of money and time just to make a very small group of people happy.
So he used AI, Whoopty-Do. He isn't selling the game, It's free to play. All you anti-AI peeps scream about it at indie devs, but go out and support all the major Devs doing the same thing, but actually charging for the game. In another 10 years most everything in games will be AI generated, it's just the way it goes. Get over your three -spirit penguin self.
Trying to test the new content, but the exchange doesn't work and neither do the first 2 star upgrades. I can't click on them. I believe the hitboxes are either not there or too small to click. I say this because the last 2 star upgrades were usable only if my mouse was on a single pixel, same with the shop menu tab and crystal upgrades. The click boxes are way too small and only on the very left side of the buttons. Also, the "Assign" buttons for work after lvl 1500 don't work.
