So sorry about the lag :( but I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it, and thank you for the feedback on the camera! The colors on the buildings are randomly selected from our artist's color palette so some may have randomly selected white.
We meant for it to last just about 5 minutes for the jam but we had a few ideas for what a bigger and more replayable game could look like, perhaps a proc gen map and make it more roguelike.
This is a lovely game!! I love how the level reveals itself. And I really appreciate that there was a tutorial for each level. Visuals were really nice to look at. Also I did notice the seriousness setting 😁
I couldn't find the fly button for a while so I do wish the buttons were more obvious instead of in the far corners. I also wish I could zoom into the map a little more when you move to the lower levels, but the gameplay was fantastic. Would definitely play a full game of this. Great work!
Really interesting concept and love the art and music! The controls feel a bit unintuitive; I wonder if a mouse click to jump or at least a visual indicator to show how far you're going to go would feel better. I think players are so used to jumping on button click instead of on button release in these types of games that changing the responsiveness might impact gamefeel. I also cannot get past the first gate, not sure if that's a bug/missing visual cues or a skill issue on my part.
