Thank you for the feedback! We also wanted to add more variety to the engine sounds and make them feel more dynamic. Unfortunately, we couldn't find audio assets that we were satisfied with, and we didn't have enough time or experience to implement a more advanced engine sound system during the Game Jam. So we tried our best to make it feel more dynamic by using stereo effects, but we're sorry it still wasn't satisfying. :( We really appreciate you pointing this out. Thanks again for your feedback!

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! Also thank you for the wonderful review! We actually noticed during playtesting that the game's pacing could feel a bit slow, but it's a shame we didn't think of addressing it this way. :( We also love your ideas about adding a commentator and a crowd. We think those additions would really bring the atmosphere of the racetrack to life. Thank you again for your valuable feedback and support!

I really enjoyed playing this game! The atmosphere was so well crafted that it genuinely made me feel a little uneasy at first. The art and sound design worked together incredibly well to create the world and really pulled me into the experience. At first, I found the mechanic of holding E and using the mouse to adjust the values a bit awkward. However, I quickly realized that this "awkwardness" actually made the gameplay more engaging. If it had simply used the arrow keys or another standard control scheme, I don't think it would have had the unique feel. Out of all the games I played this time, this one had my favorite atmosphere. Great work!

I had a lot of fun playing it, and I absolutely loved the narrative as well.

I really enjoyed playing this game!

The core gameplay was engaging, and I especially liked the baggage inspection and the way the game gave hints whenever you arrived at a station. That made the game easy to follow and enjoyable to play.

The only minor issue I had was with the text. This might just be because I'm not a native English speaker, but the font sometimes felt a bit difficult to read, especially when the text was tightly spaced or tilted. Other than that, I really enjoyed everything about the game.

Thank you for your kind words about our idea! This game actually started with a simple thought: "What if we just let cars race around a track?" As we watched the cars drive automatically, we realized it was more fun than we expected, and that's how the idea gradually evolved into the game you played today. We're really happy that you enjoyed it, and thank you again for your wonderful review!

This was one of the few games I've actually reached the ending of! I had a really great time playing it. I loved how the game takes one simple rule, "when the countdown reaches 0, it activates," and builds levels using various blocks around that concept. It was such an interesting and creative way to create different challenges. Especially, the slow-motion effect while holding down the timer button was a fantastic detail. It gave me a brief moment to think carefully during intense situations, allowing for more precise and thoughtful decisions during gameplay. Really enjoyed this game. Great work!

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! Our team was mainly focused on adding more content and interactions during the race, but as you mentioned, simply making the game faster might be the better solution. We'll definitely consider this idea for future improvements. Thanks for the great suggestion! :)

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! Thank you for your thoughtful suggestions and for introducing us to those great games! If we revisit and continue improving this game in the future, my partner and I will definitely keep your ideas in mind and carefully consider them. We really appreciate your feedback and your support!

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! We're really glad you enjoyed the core upgrade system and the risk-versus-reward decisions. We originally planned to include more item interactions throughout the 100-lap run, but we couldn't finish that feature before release. Because of that, we're sorry that some parts of the game may have felt a bit boring. :(

We'll continue refining the balance to make the game more engaging and rewarding in future updates.Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback and for spending so much time with our game!

I've always found games in this genre to be quite difficult. But there's a big difference between a game that's simply frustrating and one that's so engaging that it makes you want to keep trying. This game was definitely into the second category for me. To be honest, I couldn't clear many stages, no matter how hard I tried, but I really enjoyed figuring out the simple yet clever mechanics and using them to solve each level. Every stage felt satisfying in its own way, and it was a lot of fun.

I really enjoyed this game! At first, I thought it would just be a simple game about clicking numbers down. But the developers turned that simple idea into something incredibly fun. Once I started playing, I couldn't stop until I reached the ending. It was an amazing experience!

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! We're glad you enjoyed the feeling of getting faster and faster! We also agree that the early-game economy can feel a bit slow. We'll definitely consider speeding up the overall game pace so players can get into the fun much sooner in future updates.

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! We think we may have made the balance a bit too challenging. :( Since the game lasts for 100 laps, we agree that it needs either more content throughout the run or a faster overall pace. We'll take your feedback into account and work on improving the balance and game flow in future updates. Thank you so much for your kind review and for giving our game a 7/10!

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! Glad you liked the idea! We totally agree that it needs more juice.

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! CPU1 was actually intended to be tough, but it turned out even harder than we expected—to be honest, even I couldn't beat it most of the time during testing! Thank you so much for saying it has potential and that you had fun. That's the highest compliment for us!

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! Thank you for the awesome feedback! If we make further updates, we’ll definitely keep your advice in mind and work when adding more content and dynamic polish to the game!

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! Thank you for the great review! We added the volume option because we wanted pleasant sound design for a good game experience, and we're so glad it contributed to your enjoyment!

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! Defeated by just one lap that’s so close! We’re so glad you had a relaxing and fun experience with our game. As this is our very first game, our speed balancing wasn't quite perfect, but we’ll definitely keep your feedback in mind for future improvements!

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! Rather than direct steering control, our original intention was to deliver an experience where players watch and fine-tune the race as it unfolds. We initially planned to include skills and various augment options, but due to time constraints, this version ended up only featuring simple stat upgrades while achieving our core mechanics.

It's unfortunate that our shortcomings made the game feel overly difficult and drawn out, but we truly appreciate your thoughtful feedback. Thank you once again for playing and for leaving such a great review!

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our Lap Down 100! it's such an honor to  remind you those classic arcade vibes for you

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our round round racing! We're so glad our roundy race kept you hooked, even for a bit!

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our racing! I didn't know about the Indy 500 specifically, but I made it based on my own memory of how mesmerizing oval track racing was to watch! Maybe that race in my memory was actually the Indy 500! Glad you enjoyed numbers go up

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game! You caught our exact intention!

It was super tough, but the art was so cute and I had a lot of fun

(1 edit)

Such an interesting game! The art, sound, story, and concepts were all fantastic. However, it was a bit too difficult for me, so I’m sad I couldn’t experience everything it had to offer

I really enjoyed it! The art is so distinct that I died multiple times just admiring the visuals!

I really enjoyed it!

An amazingly fun game with incredible art and sound! It was so cool to see how such a cute rabbit character was utilized so well throughout the gameplay

I was just playing mindlessly when I realized I couldn't get down at the final exit—I was totally thrown off! I actually played this before the voting period, but it was so memorable and fun that I had to search for it again. The game's title is really memorable, too!

I found it really interesting that the time aspect was tied to individual bombs rather than the overall game! I usually avoid guides, so when I was wondering what the bomb did and it suddenly blew up the platform, I panicked— it was such a fun rush!

I really loved the strategic thinking and how satisfying it felt to press the buttons! Especially using items to blast scores wide open that was so much fun.

It’s unbelievable how amazing the art and gameplay are, especially given how quickly it was made! I was so captivated that I spent ages just looking around!

Fully upgrading speed made moving around so satisfying and fun!
