Haha no worries just wanted to let you know, I know artists can get a kick out of seeing their work implemented :)

Was just a quick game jam project, but I do like trying to polish or fully flesh out my projects as much as I can so that they're "complete", even if they're short/small games, so I recently updated that one, post-jam, to add a bit more. Thanks for the compliment and the link post!

Thanks for these panels/elements!! I used some of them and they worked great for my last game jam project, TRENCHGLOW.

I've linked this webpage in my attributions in the game's description, as well as in the credits page in the project itself.

Thank you for these!!! These spritesheets were very helpful for my last game jam project, TRENCHGLOW

These gems were basically exactly what I was looking for and the assets worked perfectly 😊👍 Thanks again!

I've been working on other projects so it took a bit, but I finally got around to making a few new levels for this and thereby finishing this prototype, for now.

(added three new levels, rounding out what would be  'Chapter 1' of the game, improved/polished some systems, as well as creating some new systems -- details in the Patch Notes v0.9.0 above)

I know this is a bit old at this point, I've been working on other projects so it took a bit, but as I said I would, I finally got around to making new levels for this, in order to finish out the prototype/vertical slice!

Posting here for any of y'all that truly wanted more content (added three more levels, rounded out what would be  'Chapter 1' of the game, and improved/polished some systems as well as creating some new ones)

Patch Notes available on the game page

Thank you for playing!!
I was worried it would be too difficult so I widened the paddle a bit after release, and the ball behavior could still be refined more so I may work on that.
I'll prob update this again, but it'll have to wait till I'm done with at least a few levels for a Trenchglow content update 😅

vhs toggle is a nice update!

Hey, glad you enjoyed it!

When you say it felt slow, was it more like frame drops/stuttering or more like an input delay? Also, what browser were you using, and was it consistent throughout the game or only at certain moments in gameplay?

Thanks for playing, and for the feedback!

Thanks you!!

Thanks!!

Really cool mechanic! and great sfx 😂

Nice game! I like the art & animations

Thanks for the comment! Will work on invis collisions👍

Definitely a neat idea!! It was pretty difficult for me to try to find a way out, but I like the mechanic a lot.

I could see this being built out a bit more, with some sound too, and being awesome. Nice job

Thanks! Yeah I rushed a bit on the visuals at the end and I def understand what you mean.

I plan to add more levels relatively soon! Had a lot of fun with this one so I can't just leave it at this tutorial😅

Yeah the result was good! Slime sprites are always a great choice lol

Godot seems really neat! I may just have to check it out thanks to all of you with these awesome 2.5D/3D browser games 😂

Actually amazing, love the art, concept, and it plays really smooth

Having the hand context popups was a great touch, made it a lot easier to understand. Luckily I understand the poker style, but that just made it even easier to pickup--suits were a bit hard to distinguish at first, maybe establishing some suit names would help?  This is so awesome though, and I'm not really even into card style games! Slay the Spire is the closest I get to card video games really--well done all around!!

Super impressive!

Thank you!

Nice! Like some others said, the dash felt good, and I love the moon art :)

Thank you!!! That sonar definitely had a few issues initially 😅

Thanks for the feedback! Will look into all that

I do plan to make more levels so I'll look into that while making them

This is just awesome man, great job! The 2.5D style and the loot colors are a nice touch
Absolutely love the music and the gameplay feels great, you definitely got the juice down.

The slime enemy's animation when they're just sitting there looks like its headbanging to the music 🤣 10/10

HAHAHA WOW THIS IS AWESOME!!!

Thanks for the recording! Being able to hear your comments while watching the gameplay is so useful as feedback!!!
When I add new levels, I'll def update the tutorial level's popup panels to be a bit more user friendly and visible.

😎

THANKS!

Love this feedback thank you, I really can't wait to update it with some more levels haha

I really like the feel of it and want to work on it more 😂 and I will, can't just leave it at that tutorial

Awesome!!

Thank you so much for playing!

Thanks!!! Your entry was awesome too 😊

Thank you!!! Yes I wish I had been able to make more levels for the jam, or at least 3 total

I ended up deciding to focus on polishing the systems and juice (fx)

Awesome fx and narration 😂 great movement feel too

This was addicting!! Great job!

Easy to learn but hard to master, great music and vfx

Awesome artwork and game loop, I definitely fell to my death a few times 😂

Nice one! Need more games like ghostrunner

crisp and cool! well done

totally fair and understandable. great job either way!

pretty epic

I just played it and I was able to hear plenty! maybe a different browser would work? I could hear SFX and music on firefox

Nice job! I got all the fragments 😎 awesome puzzles and everything

Thanks! Yeah I think I know the spot you're talking about, I plan to fix that when I add more levels.

Thanks for the feedback!!

Thanks!!
