Hi everyone!
Our indie team is currently developing a short, highly cinematic game action demo on Godot, focusing heavily on a dark atmosphere and narrative tension.
The project is already well-structured and active with a Creative Director, a Game/Level Designer, and a Composer. To maintain a steady production pace and support our Lead Artist, we are looking for a 2D Artist / Animator.
Your role: Assist with clean-up art, character animations (run, combat, idle states), and UI/interface elements based on the creative direction.
The project is collaborative, non-commercial for now, and fully managed through GitHub. If you want to join an organized team with a clear artistic vision, drop your Discord handle or portfolio below!
Hello, I'm contacting you after reading your developer profile. We're finalizing the creation of a dedicated team for a small independent project on Godot: a short, cinematic action game demo focused on narrative tension.
Art direction, game design (GDD), and the soundtrack are already being handled by dedicated team members. We're looking for a programmer proficient in GDScript to focus exclusively on the code structure (player state machine, enemy logic, and cinematic triggers) via a shared GitHub repository. Since the design and visuals are already provided, you won't be starting from scratch.
Would you be interested in this type of structured collaboration? If your schedule allows, I'd be happy to chat with you on Discord. Sincerely.
Hello, I'm writing to you.
We're currently assembling a structured team for a small independent project using the Godot engine: a short, highly cinematic action game demo with a strong sense of tension. The team already includes a game designer, an art director, and a composer.
We're looking for a second 2D artist to collaborate on asset production (sprite animation, interfaces, or environments) to streamline our workflow.
Would you be open to this kind of collaboration? If you'd like, we can discuss it in more detail on Discord. I look forward to hearing from you and wish you a wonderful day.

Hi Lyphek! Thank you so much for reaching out, your portfolio sounds amazing.
I love the cinematic vibe. Even though our main composer role is taken, I really like the idea of a potential audio collaboration for orchestral themes or extra tracks.
I am currently reviewing this with the team. I'll get back to you as soon as they validate the idea. Let's stay in touch!
Hi Kyran! Your profile looks like a perfect fit for our international indie project.
I’m GodArt. We are currently building a dedicated team for a standalone micro-project on Godot: a short, cinematic action demo with a heavy dark/tension atmosphere.
The team is already locked and structured:1 Game Designer / Level Designer (handling GDD and scene setup in Godot).1 Creative Director / Writer (Myself, handling narrative and 2D/3D art direction).1 Composer / Sound Designer (handling dynamic audio and scores).
What we need: A reliable Godot programmer to handle the core architecture (player state machines, basic enemy logic, and dialogue/cinematic triggers) using GitHub for collaboration.
Since the design, art style, and audio are already covered, you would focus purely on coding without starting from a blank page.
If you’re interested in a serious, well-organized collaboration, let's chat! Drop your Discord handle or add me: [godarts0386].
Hi everyone!
We are forming a dedicated, serious team to create an independent micro-project: a short, highly cinematic action demo focusing heavily on atmosphere and narrative tension.
Our team structure is already locked and active:
1 Game Designer / Level Designer (handling structure, mechanics, GDD, and scene assembly in Godot).
1 Creative Director / Writer (Webtoon/Manga creator handling narrative, lore, 2D/3D art direction, and asset pipeline).
1 Composer / Sound Designer (handling dynamic audio and dark atmospheric music).
Who we are looking for: A reliable programmer mastering GDScript on Godot. Your main focus will be establishing a clean code architecture for pure programming tasks, including player state machines (movements, interactions), basic enemy logic, and cinematic triggers/dialogue sequences. The project will be managed cleanly and completely for free using GitHub (multi-file structure).
If you want to code on a project where the artistic vision, narrative background, and design structure are already set up and ready for implementation, join us! Drop your Discord handle below or contact me directly.
Hi LyzB! Congrats on your work, your ambient production has a really beautiful depth.
I’m GodArt. I saw your post on the jam forum, but I'm actually putting together a dedicated team for a standalone micro-project: a short, tense, and cinematic action demo.
Since your current tracks focus heavily on smooth, immersive atmospheres, I’d love to know if you feel comfortable stepping up the intensity? Are you interested in creating more complex, cinematic scores that can shift quickly from calm to high-stakes action and surprises?
If you're up for exploring a more intense, dynamic sound palette outside of the jam format, I’d love to chat on Discord!
Hi Stary! Your profile as a game designer and project planner caught my eye.
- I am GodArt, a writer and webtoon/manga creator. I bring strong skills in art direction, digital 2D/3D design, and music.
- I also practice on Godot (PC and mobile). I’ve realized that trying to handle the entire pipeline alone limits the final quality.
- By focusing purely on story, art direction, and specific core elements while collaborating with a dedicated designer/planner like you, we can build something truly competitive.
I have some short videos and workflow folders of my training and art style.
Would you be interested in checking them out to see if our visions align for a team?Looking forward to your thoughts!
Hi everyone!
I really love the retro dark PC and light green aesthetic here—it has given me tons of ideas for asset building!
I am currently working on a project using GDevelop and want to create a dedicated group to build a simple, fun game together. The genre will be action with a tense, cinematic, and short demo format.
How can I add team members to my project page here?
A quick note on what I am looking for: I recently tried working with a beginner group, but unfortunately, it fell apart because we lost focus on the theme and direction. This time, I am looking for reliable or specialized members in their respective fields (coding, art, or audio) so we can be highly efficient at every step of development.
Excited to hear from you and build something cool!
Ah! I can’t imagine how frustrating that must’ve been. It was probably an amateur group. No real preparation or precision, especially if everyone just does whatever they want.
On my side, I’m struggling to create my own project too, and I might not even finish it on time.🤕
Thanks for replying, brother. Let’s stay in touch if any new opportunities come up.👋
When I’m done, I’ll definitely go check out the cool things you’ve made in your game.
I've prepared a highly ambitious project, but I can no longer meet the deadline working solo. So I'm looking for three members:
· a developer (GDevelop)
· a sound designer (SFX/music)
· a UI designer
Current progress on the core project (remaining tasks):
· Animations: 40
· Sound: 38
· Core logic / functional code mechanics: 14
· Player: not started
Motivated and responsive required – time is running out!
I'm urgently looking to put together a last‑minute team for the GDevelop game jam.
