Hey everyone!

I just released a new free asset pack called Merchant’s Vault – Containers & Treasure.

It includes 20 fantasy container and treasure props designed for:

RPGs VTTs (Roll20, Foundry, etc.) Game UI Inventory systems Worldbuilding projects

The pack features chests, barrels, sacks, pouches, crates, urns, backpacks, scroll cases and other storage-themed items, all provided as transparent PNGs.

My goal was to create assets that remain readable at different scales while still feeling detailed and consistent.

You can grab it here:

https://calil-vtt-assets.itch.io/merchants-vault-containers-treasure

Feedback is always welcome. I’m currently building a growing collection of fantasy assets and creature packs for tabletop RPGs and VTTs.

Thanks for taking a look!

After weeks of designing creatures, refining combat roles and transforming scattered ideas into a living ecosystem, I’ve finally released the very first creature pack from The Goblin’s Vault.

From the beginning, Hungry Jungle was never meant to be just another collection of monster tokens.

The goal was to create creatures that truly felt as though they belonged to the same environment — hunting, surrounding and surviving together within a corrupted and living jungle.

The collection is divided into four major regions:

Frontiers of Contagion The Rotmarsh Plateau of Decay Origin of Evil

Each region contains:

5 unique creatures; distinct combat roles; group behaviour; interconnected encounter dynamics.

The pack includes:

20 original creatures; illustrated tokens; front and back encounter cards; threat ranking system; thematic lore; VTT-optimised assets.

The Collector’s Edition also includes:

high-resolution versions; looping ambient music tracks; the exclusive Goblin Calil promotional token.

This is only the first step into the world of The Goblin’s Vault.

Just published a new pack focused on something simple but constantly used: potions.

The goal here wasn’t to make flashy illustrations, but practical assets that actually work in real scenarios: VTT sessions, UI mockups, or in-game interfaces.

Each item was designed with:

clear silhouettes for readability at small sizes consistent lighting and material definition subtle variation in liquid behavior (not just color swaps)

Includes:

20 potion items transparent PNGs VTT version (1K) Print-ready version (2K / 300 DPI)

It’s set as pay what you want (suggested $2).

If you try it in a session or a project, I’d love to hear how it performs in practice.

I’ve just released a new pack: Primal Masks: Werewolf Kin.

This project started as a style experiment but gradually evolved into something more structured. The goal was to create characters that work not only visually, but also as individuals within a society — each with their own expression, posture, and identity.

The pack includes: – 12 characters (portrait + token) – VTT-ready version – high-resolution print version – free sample – loopable ambient track for immersion

I tried to balance practical usability at the table with a stronger, more consistent visual identity.

If you end up using it in a game, I’d love to hear how it played out 🙂

Thanks.

Just dropped a new pack focused on mercenaries.

Been trying to get into a better production rhythm, and this one felt like things finally clicked a bit more. Keeping things simple, grounded, and actually usable at the table.

Decided to go with 2K for this release. Costs more, but the result feels cleaner and more consistent overall — especially for presentation.

Still refining the workflow as I go, but I’m happy with how this one turned out.

If you checked it out, let me know what you think.

Thank you, I really appreciate it! I’ll keep creating more content, more coming soon.

After closing the Standard Legacy Series and refining the Presence line, I realized something was still missing.

So far, I had been working with:

creatures encounters presence in a scene

But the most important piece wasn’t there yet:

people.

Not just portraits. Not just utility. But full characters, with body, posture, and cultural identity.

The first pack in this new line is:

Ocolume Series — The Kingdom of Theryn’Zul

25 full-body characters in 8K, with transparent backgrounds, designed for flexible use: crop, portrait, token, or full composition.

The goal of this series is to represent each kingdom of my world through the people who live in it.

No generic heroes. No exaggeration. No “perfect fantasy.”

Just people.

I also changed Calil’s role in this line.

In Presence, he observes cultures. Here, he belongs to them.

The tone shifts — less observation, more belonging.

This is just the beginning.

The Ocolume Series will move through all kingdoms (and wild regions) of the world. Once everything is complete, the collection will be closed and turned into Legacy.

If you want to check it out: 👉 https://calil-vtt-assets.itch.io/the-kingdom-of-therynzul

Curious to hear what you think about this direction.

A small pack of 12 semi-realistic NPC tokens focused on urban intrigue and shady characters.

2K PNG, transparent background, ready for VTT.

$1 launch price.

Yes.

The latest addition to the Cultural Presence Series is now available.

This Core Set introduces a grounded, urban medieval English society built for structured, roleplay-focused campaigns.

Designed for versatility, hierarchy, and narrative flexibility.

Full Portrait Set

12 culturally cohesive character presences, each provided as:

• Full illustrated portrait • Isolated transparent version • VTT-ready token • Seamless ambient soundtrack (The Quiet Borough)

VTT Token Set

Optimized for clarity at tabletop scale, clean silhouettes, and strong visual identity during play.

AI-assisted production workflow under licensed commercial terms. Full details are available on the product page.

As always, feedback is welcome. The Cultural Presence Series continues.

https://calil-vtt-assets.itch.io/england-inspired-presence-core-set

Yes. AI was used as part of the production process for these portraits (including the Viking set).

The artwork was generated using Freepik’s licensed commercial plan, which grants commercial usage rights for generated assets according to their terms.

All AI usage is declared in the product metadata and submission forms. I’m not sure why that information is not being clearly displayed on itch.io’s interface, but I’ll also be adding clearer notices in future banners/descriptions to avoid confusion.

If you need any additional clarification for labeling purposes, feel free to let me know.

The Standard Zombie Tokens pack is now available as part of the Standard Creature Line.

This release includes 20 unique zombie characters, each built for practical tabletop and VTT use. Every character comes with:

• 6 frame color variations • Glow and No-Glow options • Isolated transparent version • Multiple resolutions (256 / 512 / 1K + 2K print-ready)

The goal remains consistency and modular usability. Frames can be used to represent threat level, factions, encounter groups, or any custom system depending on your campaign needs.

An ambient loop titled “Slow Decay” is also included to support subtle undead encounters without overpowering gameplay.

As always, feedback is welcome. The Standard Creature Line will continue expanding over time with the same structured approach.

You’re absolutely right — that was a mistake in the product description on my end. The pack currently includes 12 characters, and I’ve corrected the text to avoid further confusion.

I’m sorry for the oversight. If you purchased the pack expecting 20, I’m happy to offer a full refund — or, if you prefer, you can choose any other product from the store for free (including Tavern Nights Atmospheres or any other pack you’d like).

Just let me know what works best for you, and I’ll take care of it.

This release expands the Cultural Presence Series with a Viking-inspired cultural foundation.

The intention behind this pack was to represent people as part of a living structure — not as exaggerated heroes, but as individuals shaped by their roles within a society. Authority, labor, belief, and daily function were treated as equally important.

These presences are designed to be usable across a wide range of contexts. They are intentionally unnamed and open, allowing them to serve as leaders, seers, traders, workers, envoys, or civilians depending on your narrative.

All characters are provided in three functional formats:

• Portraits for narrative and visual identity • Tokens optimized for VTT use • Isolated transparent versions for flexible integration

A seamless ambient soundtrack is also included to support atmosphere without imposing tone.

A free sample is available, including one complete character and the full soundtrack, allowing you to evaluate the structure and compatibility of the pack.

This release marks the beginning of the Cultural Presence Series, a collection of characters inspired by historical cultures, designed to provide cohesive visual identity and narrative versatility.

Each character was created as an open presence, able to represent different roles within the same cultural universe, allowing flexible use in RPGs, games, and creative projects.

Below are the full previews of the portraits and tokens included in this Core Set:

This is the foundational set establishing the visual base of Byzantine culture within the series. Future expansions will further explore and expand this cultural framework over time.

A 72-hour launch promotion is active to mark this beginning.

Thank you, I really appreciate that. I’m glad that character stood out to you.

Thanks for the heads up! I’m still getting used to posting here — could you let me know the correct way to add the screenshot? Should I edit the post or add it in the comments?

Hey everyone,

I’ve just released a new pack in the STANDARD line, this time focused on one of the most classic creatures in any RPG setting: skeletons.

The idea stays the same as the previous releases: clean tokens, easy to read at small sizes, and ready for immediate use in VTT. The goal is to make encounter building faster, without needing to adjust art or hunt for extra variations.

What’s included:

20 unique skeletons

13 visual variants

260 tokens total

Transparent PNG files

Multiple resolutions

Works right away in Roll20, Foundry, Owlbear, Fantasy Grounds, and other platforms, and can also be printed for physical tabletop sessions.

It also includes a bonus loop soundtrack designed to create constant tension during exploration and combat: Skeletons of the Endless Grave.

Pack link: https://calil-vtt-assets.itch.io/standard-skeleton-tokens

If you end up using it in a session, I’d love to hear how it went. Real table feedback helps a lot when planning the next packs in the line.

Thanks again for all the support.

Yes, AI is part of my workflow. I use it as a tool, but all assets are carefully selected, refined, and organized by hand to keep a consistent and practical result for VTT use.

Just released a new pack in the STANDARD creature line: Golems.

This set includes 20 unique golem characters with 13 visual variants, built for strong readability and practical use across virtual tabletops and printable play.

• 260 tokens total • Transparent PNG • 256 / 512 / 1K / 2K (printable) • Compatible with Roll20, Foundry, Owlbear, and similar platforms

Includes a bonus cinematic loop soundtrack inspired by silent guardians and ancient constructs.

Link: https://calil-vtt-assets.itch.io/standard-golem-tokens

Hey everyone,

Just released the first pack from a new line called Atmospheres, focused on simple, practical ambient soundtracks for everyday RPG moments.

This first volume, Tavern Nights Atmospheres, includes 20 seamless 1-minute loops designed to sit quietly in the background during roleplay scenes — conversations, planning, rumors, downtime, and social encounters. The goal was to create something functional and unobtrusive that GMs can just drop into a session and let it run.

What’s included:

20 ambient tavern-themed tracks

Seamless 1-minute loops

MP3 (lightweight, VTT-ready)

WAV (high-quality version)

2 free sample tracks for testing

This project follows the same practical philosophy as my token packs: tools meant for real table use, built for consistency and easy integration during sessions.

This is just the starting point. Future Atmospheres packs will explore other environments and moods using the same loop-based structure.

If you’d like to test it first, the sample tracks are included.

https://calil-vtt-assets.itch.io/tavern-nights-atmospheres

The STANDARD series continues.

Today I’ve released Standard Kobold Tokens, a modular set of 20 kobold characters designed for quick use in VTT, with a strong focus on readability, consistency, and practical organization during sessions.

Each kobold includes multiple border variations (with and without glow), plus 1K / 512 / 256 versions for direct use. The pack also includes isolated PNGs and 2K print-ready files for those who prefer physical tabletop play.

This release builds on the base established with trolls and orcs. The idea behind the STANDARD line is to create essential creature sets that GMs can rely on — simple, flexible, and ready to drop into any campaign.

A small free sample and a loopable ambient soundtrack are included so you can test everything before fully integrating it into your table.

More creatures and thematic expansions are planned as the series grows.

Thanks for the support.

https://calil-vtt-assets.itch.io/standard-kobold-tokens

I’ve just released a new token pack focused on direct use in VTT.

STANDARD ORC TOKENS features 20 unique orcs, each with border variations (with and without glow) designed to help with in-game organization — whether by threat level, combat role, clans, or any system the GM prefers to use.

The goal was to make something truly practical: readable at small sizes, consistent, and easy to identify during a session.

The main download is ready for VTT use (256, 512 and 1K), and I’ve also included separate 2K versions for those who want to print.

There are also two orcs with all border variations available as a free sample to test, plus a short, loopable soundtrack to help set the mood.

This is part of a system I’m building over time, with more packs coming in the same line.

Project link: https://calil-vtt-assets.itch.io/standard-orc-tokens

I’ve released a free modular frame system for creature tokens — borders, textures, and full frames designed for consistent VTT and tabletop use.

https://calil-vtt-assets.itch.io/creature-token-frames

Hi everyone,

I’ve just released Trolls of Broken Lands, a creature token pack focused on practical table use rather than just visual flair.

The pack includes 20 unique trolls, each designed for a different biome or context (swamps, tundra, caves, cities, deserts, etc.). Every troll comes with 5 token variants, built to help organization, readability, and encounter clarity during play.

This project marks a shift in how I approach asset creation: less focus on generating isolated images, and more on delivering something that actually works at the table — both in VTTs and physical play.

The pack is compatible with Roll20, Foundry, Owlbear Rodeo, and similar platforms, and also includes print-ready versions. There’s also a free bonus ambient soundtrack available separately for those who want to set the mood at the table.

👉 itch.io page: https://calil-vtt-assets.itch.io/trolls-of-broken-lands

I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback — especially from GMs who care about usability and clean presentation during play.
