Thank you, itch, for putting Madame Ro on the front page so we get new Madame Ro art

Not only tasty, but also nutritional and good for your health :) Thank you for playing

Thank you so much for the fast response! Changing renpy.redraw did the trick perfectly for my purposes, but I'll ask a more coding-savvy friend to walk me through  adding it as a parameter and hopefully I will learn something :D

Hello! I'm trying to use the ScareText/chills effect for a project, but the text is getting animated way faster than I'd like (Considerably faster than in your preview here).

I gather that the letter positions are getting randomised every frame. Is there some way to slow it down, such as only changing letter position every 5 frames or some other method? I saw that some other tags have a speed setting, but I couldn't figure out if there was a way to work a speed setting into ScareText. I'd love to have some slow chills in my game :D

The beautiful thing about having multiple endings is that you can appeal to both the toxic yaoi lovers and the ones who want a somewhat happy if slightly ill-advised ending, so there are only winners.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the worldbuilding as well >:D

It's very fun to learn which endings people are the most excited by, haha

I had a previous jam idea with choices that I couldn't make work, which is how I ended up thinking more about how to design choices in a believable and rewarding way. So I'm happy to hear it seems to have paid off :D Thank you for reading!

I'm glad you took the time to find them all :D The impact of that one choice is one of my favourite bits in the game, I think.

I'm glad you enjoyed it and that the battle scene turned out well since it was my first time incorporating action into a VN :D

Thank you for the comment, but this is actually a visual novel and not cinema. Glad to hear you enjoyed it on the big screen, though :)

I'm glad to hear your appreciation of Swedish accents was able to help you overlook the scientific inaccuracies. You truly are a person of culture.

Trying to release at least something for a jam despite your mental health being in absolute shambles is such a familiar feeling .-. Sometimes you have an idea, but then when you actually work on it, it goes in a completely different direction. I sometimes imagine big sprawling works with lots of choices and branching, but a lot of my stories end up kinetic because I can only imagine them going one way :')

I really hope every player was able to see themselves in the diversity of options. There's something for everyone after all.

I have good news for you: You can just download this game 10 times and then you'll have 10 of it

The vampire catman is actually a deep and meaningful critique of harmful tropes surrounding sexual harrassment, so I'm afraid I can't make a route for him even if a lot of people find him sexy :( Sorry

Good luck finding the doggirl of your dreams! This game is dedicated to all Playernames in every dimension

Such cruel words D':

I'm sorry the badness didn't live up to your expectations, but have you considered that maybe it's a skill issue on your part that you can't appreciate how bad my game is?

Thank you. Your eyes are brighter than a disco ball.

Thank you for enjoying my masterpiece :) Not sure why you crossed that part out, though

Nooooo don't say that, I'll be disqualified from the jam D:
I'm glad you enjoyed the LI. Not everyone appreciates a vampire catboy with strong ethics nowadays, alas

I was assigned apron by Madame Ro. Would recommend the experience.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for checking out the behind the scenes stuff too! I always love reading about the process behind a piece of art or a game, so I wanted to include some in my own game as well :D

Aaah, thank you for reading througb everything ;_; I love reading about other people's creative process, so I thought maybe people will also be interested in mine :D

And yes!! Printer paper and pencils are enough!! You can do traditional art! And maybe invest in a fineliner if you get more into it. You don't need lots of expensive materials!

Really lovely game. Beautiful art and sweet characters. It's very impressive what you managed to do in the jam period with all the different routes and scenes, as well as the stat raising.

I did unfortunately encounter a couple of bugs D': The history screen seems broken. I just see the names but no text on it. I think there's also a couple of instances where the maid's default name is used instead of the player-chosen one. I also noticed that when I loaded an earlier save after finishing a playthrough, the stats didn't revert. I ended up with 24 independence and eventually couldn't continue because I had maxed out every stat and every social interaction.

I'd love if there was a guide on how to get the different endings since it seems like there's some relatively specific conditions for some of them.

I like writing characters with baggage. it's just fun to write people with issues. Thank you for playing!

I love the point&click elements and Thorne is such a cutie. The horror elements were also well-executed. Nice work!

The pencil being a little visible was mostly due to laziness, but I do like the look as well ahaha. Thank you for playing!!

I am an absolute sucker for kiss-to-distract-pursuers kisses, as silly as the trope is, so I feel very catered to. The music playing the kiss was also really beautiful and enhanced the atmosphere so much.

Reyes is so adorable. I love their expressions! They're very varied and reveal so much about his emotions. And Amara is just gorgeous. The character designs and hints of worldbuilding are amazing and let you imagine so much of the setting despite this being a relatively short story. There's definitely a lot of potential for a larger story set there, I'd love a prequel exploring their initial meeting.

As bittersweet as the ending was, you could really feel the growth of the characters and their relationship, which left me certain that they'll find ways to cross paths again.

As far as quotes go, I love "Why should we let morality get in the way of doing good?" Truly words to live by.

Really amazing work and I hope to see more from you in the future!

You'll have to fight his boyfriend first

A perfect set for some classic beach episode shenanigans. The starry waves with shooting stars variants are super pretty!

I like the unusual customisation options in this, from choosing voices, perspectives and sexiness levels. It was fun to play through several times and discover the dialogue changes. Very pretty art and character design options as well! And it's a super cute idea to send a customised story as a sort of greeting card, so I hope you can figure out that aspect soon.

Thank you for appreciating my boys :>

That outline was the easiest way of making the traditional sprites work in the game, so I'm glad you like the look! :D Thank you for playing!

Frog kisses!

I absolutely love the visuals in this, amazing stylisation and effective use of colour. Damien's blushy face is also adorable and I could stare at it forever.  And I can very much appreciate a matchmaking trickster god. It's a cute, funny concept that nonetheless resulted in some sweet, sincere feelings. Nice work!

Amazng UI that sets the gothic atmosphere perfectly and intense poetic writing.

I'm extremely intrigued by the mystery being set up here, who these characters are and what roles they are playing. It feels very fitting that the demo ends with the main characters noticing his growing obsession because that is also how I felt.

I'm very much looking forward to the extended demo and full game, and uncovering the connection between Cain and Enoch (and hopefully more voyeurism involving the cube man).

Harvest_Festival_Brass.mp3 pulled a lot of weight for establishing the ~atmosphere~ of the game. Thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing! I made this for a game jam when I didn't have a lot of time and I agree that it would've needed to be a bigger game to really work, but I'm glad to hear you liked the art and atmosphere nonetheless.

Thank you for enjoying my sense of humour hahaha :D

I'm glad you got some enjoyment out of my silliness!
