Five players. One bomb. Who do you trust?

Wrong Cut is a free hidden-role party game in your browser. Five players share one bomb with colored wires — talk on voice chat, play ability cards, and vote on which wire to cut each round.

The Crew tries to defuse it; the Saboteurs want it to blow up (or the clock to run out).

No account. No payment. Just a display name and a group on voice chat.

How it works

Roles are secret. Each round you discuss, play at most one ability card, then vote on a live wire color. Every cut moves a shared success/fail meter on the bomb until someone wins.

  • Civilian — read the table, win the argument, vote wisely
  • Technician — run wire scans, explain your results to the crew
  • Saboteur — you know the volatile wire; steer cuts toward disaster
  • Deceiver — fake scans, sow doubt, stay plausible

Private hints, bluffs, and gut calls — nobody sees the full truth except what they earn.

Early development

Wrong Cut is in active early access. Mechanics, balance, and UI are still changing — playtests and feedback shape what ships next. If something feels off, say so on Discord or in the comments here.
