Awesome little game! My highscore is four.

there's a typo right at the beginning of the game. You've typed there're but I think you mean they're, the contraction of they are. "Assuming they are still on the island" not "Assuming there are still on the island."

(I bought my copy on the PlayDate website, I don't know if there's any difference.)

The game is just not compatible with recent apple OS. There's no way to run it on Ventura or above, unless Brough updates the game.

You have to do certain things in the right order to complete the game. I think pressing select resets everything.

I think the game resets any time you press select. If you do things in the wrong order, the game is unbeatable, so I think the select button is there to let you try again.

at 0:16 it looks like you get shot by a character who is not facing you? How odd!

maybe you can add it as an update, for a second round of publicity!

That's a nice little game.

For future carts, it seems like a batteryless FRAM save would be better than SRAM save with a battery. Batteries don't last.

for Steamdeck should I use the windows version? Or the Linux version?

I really enjoyed the game! I discovered it here but I bought it on Steam to play on my Steamdeck and it ran great. It's just so much easier to discover cool little games here at itch than it is on Steam.

I got it running on Steamdeck! It was pretty easy to set up. I have it run on “proton experimental”. Plays great!

I actually think I prefer this game to Castlevania. I love the level design! Music and sound effects are great too. Works great with my 8bitdo controller.

the game is great, but it has 4 levels not 250. I think you must mean 250+ screens.

you can play .gb files on Analogue Pocket too though if you install a core that plays them

Is it not supposed to make a sound when you do most things, like use your weapon or jump? It feels strange not to get audio cues for things.

This game is absolutely fantastic. I would absolutely LOVE to see more from you! If you make another Playdate adventure it's an instabuy for me.
