Yeah unfortunately I don't think there's much I can do with the overlap on hit boxes because of how the plugin I'm using seems to work.
Enigma of Amigara Fault's one of Junji Ito's more well known works, mostly because of the one panel being used as a meme. I'd recommend giving it a read sometime!

I was planning to have more than just three characters, originally it was nine with a different set each level but didn't have the time to add them all. I might try to do an update to add them in later.
