Hi! Thanks for playing my game, I'm glad that you liked it!
I agree with you on that, that mechanic went out very confusing. In future updates I'll try to make it more understandable and entertaining
Wow, this game is really something. I had so much fun playing it, my fingers flew across the keyboard like a piano, lol. It took a few minutes to get used to it, but it was still a blast. The sound design is really nice, and I really enjoyed the voice acting too. The design and art style are really nice
Congratulations on successfully completing the game for this jam, and best of luck with your future projects!
That was some extraordinary puzzle, really made me think and remember my knowledge of mathematics. At first I was really confused, especially because English isn’t my native language and I didn’t really understanded what fraction meant. I assume it was meant to be finding the greatest common divisor of numbers because that's how I ended up playing the game
Music is very cool though, I even shook my head to the beat at one point. Pixel art is very nice too, cats are awesome
Congratulations on successfully completing the game for this jam, and best of luck with your future projects!
Wow, that was a really fun experience. I especially enjoyed breeding the new Yips; their final appearances surprised me every time. The art style is very pleasant and beautiful, the location and character designs are cool, and the UI is top-notch. The music and sound design are overall wonderful, amazing work
Congratulations on successfully completing the game for this jam, and best of luck with your future projects!
Such a small number of votes is a real rip-off. The graphics, models, and designs are very pleasing and eye-catching. The way the main theme is developed is very interesting and captivating. I was very interested in the designs for each turtle, brilliant work
I think in the future, it would be interesting to see a similar variety of random mutations for enemies, so that the difficulty gradually increases as you progress
Congratulations on successfully completing the game for this jam, and best of luck with your future projects!
HI! Thank you for playing my game and for commenting, it means alot!
Your idea is very cool actually. To be honest, I had something similar in mind while working on a game, but it was a bit too hard to make in time, so the idea was scrapped. In future updates I'll see what I can do and try to add more randomness, as well as a family tree so that player could scroll through generations and see how many turtles were there and what kind there were
I knew it would be such a precious experience right from the starting animation. The pixel art is gorgeous, I really like the UI, the location design, the designs for enemies and for frog itself, animations for all of those make everything even better. Music and sound choice are very good too, this funky beat perfectly keeps game dynamic. As someone in the comments already said, it would be nice if sounds were a bit louder
Couldn’t mention that Oreo and Semmel are very cute
Congratulations on successfully completing the game for this jam, and best of luck with your future projects!
Hi! Congratulations on successfully completing the game for this jam!
I’ve played your game about three times; it was very addictive. Mostly because it reminded me a browser game with similar art style and mechanics from many years ago. But that’s not bad, nostalgia has its own charm
I really liked the concept of your game, the art style, and shooting sounds. All of those aspects were very good
However, there were a couple of things, that made experience a bit awkward:
Even if you didn't have enough time to do everything you wanted, you still did your best and that’s very cool! Good luck with your future projects!
Hello! Thanks for playing my game!
During testing, the web build had some nasty scaling issues because the game's native resolution is a bit too big for standard browser windows, making the UI render incorrectly. Downloading it is the only way to make sure everything looks right and doesn't break for now. I'm planning to fix this issue in future updates
The music is stunning, I love it very much. Designs of the animal are also gorgeous. I will protect my Sheldon for the rest of my life, he turned out to be very nice and precious young turtle
Congratulations on successfully completing the game for this jam, and best of luck with your future projects!
Thanks for your comment and for mentioning the bug, it was a small bug in the code that will be fixed in future updates after the jam ends
I didn't initially intend this game to be anything serious, just wanted to make something fun and relaxing, rather than dynamic. I had a few more ideas, like terrarium customization, but procrastination got the better of me, so it turned out the way it did. I'll continue updating it in the future so it takes on the original form
In the "Splice It" window, you need to combine the parents' genes. To do this, click on a parent gene, then click on the child's gene, the ones in the middle column, to fix the selected gene on a body part
Thank you for playing Mutashells!
Playing your game was a charming experience. It's quiet, short, but incredibly enjoyable and memorable. I really loved the art style and the design of the potato mutations. Especially the crunchy sound that makes me want to eat that potato
Congratulations on successfully completing the game for this jam, and best of luck with your future projects!
Your game is amazing, truly incredible. I really loved the atmosphere and the sounds that shards make, they scratched my brain very pleasantly and it was almost impossible to tear myself away from the game
I almost made it to the end, but at one point I accidentally got myself trapped with no escape
Congratulations on the successful completion of the game development for this jam and good luck with future projects!
Creatures design, their models and animations were really cool, I loved them
Even if you didn't manage to implement everything you planned now, you were still able to bring this matter to completion and improved your skills, that's awesome!
Congratulations on the successful completion of the game development for this jam and good luck with future projects!
Thank you for playing my game and for such a detailed comment. Honestly, I planned to make an autosave when going through the portal, just to avoid the moment with the restoration of crumbs and other items later, but due to some circumstances, I did not have time to do this. I am already working on making the game better. Once again, thank you very much for your feedback
