If you try it, feedback on playback compatibility, DSP behavior, interface usability, and localization is especially useful.

Hi everyone — I’m looking for specific feedback on GK SOUND SYSTEM, a Windows music & video player focused on local playback, DSP controls, and offline use.

Project page:
https://gk-development.itch.io/gk-sound-system

I’d especially like feedback on these points:

  1. Product page clarity: Is it immediately clear what the app does and who it is for? Is the feature list too dense, or is anything important missing?
  2. Screenshots / presentation: Do the current screenshots communicate the 20-band EQ, DSP controls, library, video playback, and overall interface well enough?
  3. Audio workflow: For anyone who tries the app, I’m interested in feedback on DSP behavior, equalizer usability, gapless playback, output-device handling, and differences between dragging controls and final applied sound.
  4. Media compatibility: Please mention any issues with MP3, FLAC, WAV, AAC/M4A, OGG, Opus, WMA, AIFF or MP4, including the Windows version and output device used.
  5. Localization / UI: The app currently has 22 interface languages. Any unclear wording, clipping, layout issues, or confusing controls are useful to report.

The current itch.io build is a self-contained Windows x64 release. Local media is processed on-device and is not uploaded to GK DEV servers.

Thanks for any concrete feedback — even a short note on one of the points above is useful.
