Ah, yeah that could be it. It might also be something to do with a corrupted save file. You might want to try the downloadable version and/or try clearing your cache in your web browser for itch.io.

I know we've added a lot of unperformant things recently, we will hopefully find the time to optimize them, but even then, dramatic lighting in a web browser is a pretty hard thing to pull off.

This is incredibly helpful feedback, thank you so much! Re: #2 The main impetus behind the 0.2 update is that we liked upgrading cards so much, but it basically was irrelevant in the old version because you were going to different rooms. Upgrading something in placebo wouldn't upgrade it in 1000mg, so no one ever thought to build around it.

In 0.2, upgrading the deck is much more of a first class part of the design.

Totally agree with you about the the atmosphere and vibe being off. We're going to be spending a lot of time on getting that right in this next push.

I totally agree with you. That limit is a bit of a band-aid right now, while we figure out that 'right' way to handle infinite loops like that. Any suggestions? My instinct is to limit Eyes and things that react to eyes to just one activation per turn, but that feels slightly disappointing.

Yeah, you're definitely right about that. A lot of that is just errors on our part. At one point, you were only going to be rewarded in cents, but we switched that near the end and missed a couple of the relics. Appreciate your feedback! If you are confused about any specific relic or card, that's helpful for us to know so that we can try to clarify.
