Oh wait, you're the developer, I just wanted to start by saying I really like the game, this nickpicks aside.

Us getting to know each member of the tavern, or learning all about the lost kingdom and actually finding Bread, the whole demon realm and the Cerberus

(Named them Lynn, Matt and Ricky, from Left Middle, Right,, 4 letter names, minus Ricky because he's too derpy for it.)

And I still have a lot to go seeing theses comments.

It is a fantastic game, if you disagree with my take, it's totally fine, it's YOUR game afteralll.

I guess that before knowing what exactly gave or took point, I thought I was by Nauxus side by most of the war (and that's why I gave the fruit to Axel, to balance it out).

And I'm fine with locking his friendship/romance with it, similary how you can't with Axel unless you basically destroy the lizard tribe, he was feeling pretty bad all though the war, but I still can't swallow him saying we weren't really on his side.

Because like, after the war ended, all of our actions were explained, and he learned the context of why we were like that, I feel like he would understand how we were actually helping him as much as the bull tribe.

Making so his soldiers didn't fight the bulls, and if something went wrong, we would defend his side, risking to expose ourselves to stop a bomb from killing his guards, and possibly other bystanders close by, and again, while in the war climax, arguing with the other leader just to save prisoners.

I feel like it should be something more like "You didn't do anything WRONG per say, but I also felt absolutely betrayed every step of the way, and even outside of the war business (fruits) you weren't really there for us, so I can't really don't  think this will work out, but thank you"

(Of course, unless you were just generally bad to the lizards, killing the spy AFTER knowing he was a father, siding with the bulls with the fear potions, letting Axel kill the prisoners, etc, then I feel like the canon dialogue would fit.)

Either way, again, I know coding & writting is hard, and people just saying to add stuff to a game is annoying, but I feel like us having more moments  working for both and gaining their trust would be cool.

Afteralll, not only you stopped hundreds from dying, but you went out of your way to help them even the little things.

(be warned I'm rambling a lot before actually getting to the point, it's actually mostly me talking what I thought of the end of the war arc, don't take what I said here at core value, I still loved it)

So I was playing the game and trying to make peace with both sides, was a good run that went like this

—————

[Spared the spy.

Sus points: Nauxus 0 ; Axel 2]

[Fear Potion quest with the lizard tripe.

Sus points : Nauxus 2 ;  Axel 3]

[Did Thane plan

Sus points: Nauxus 4 ; Axel 5]

[Gave fruits to the Bull Tribe.

Sus points: Nauxus 4  ;  Axel 3]

—————

And well, like some people already know, it ended with Nauxus kinda hating me, giving the fruits to him, helping him recruit other lizards or even joining the bulls with the fear potion would all just make Axel execute people. (And I don't have the heart to kill the spy, so it is what ot is)

And while that was probably the intention of the game to not have a perfect route, it got me kinda pissed at Nauxus, while I can accept him not liking me for kinda leaving him poisoned and stuff, he specifically says how I was "clearly more at other side"

Dude, I saved your spy(a family man), who YOU put in a really dangerous situation, why do you care if I acted suspicious with your guards with the fear potion, now you have context of why I was like that, and it was to save both soldiers, and if something went wrong, I was at YOUR side.

I stopped a BOMB to be thrown at YOUR tribe with would have killed dozens, made so the captive lizards weren't killed and then stopped a literal senseless war from happening while saving your tribe kids

In total I probably saved over a hundred lizards, and you're mad because of what? Because I didn't give you your fruits with your tribe lost? Because I "humiliated you" with the people you lost first? Sorry I couldn't fix the problems you created, I was too busy saving your people.

Be mad at me, I don't care, but DO NOT say I was taking sides at this war when I did you way more good.

—————

But finally coming back to the point.

I was thinking of some ideas to fix this.

Like touching up the dialogue a little to make him more hurt and less condescending, with would be the easiest fix.

Maybe making so each leader needs 4+ points to get angry at you instead of +3, or making so sparing (or killing in Axel  case) the spy makes so the scores can go to negative, but that's kinda too easy of a answer, plus it takes all the stakes out of it.

So I thought.

After a while you gain the ability to talk with both tribe leaders just before the climax of the war, there's some interesting dialogue, but not much to it.

So what if, they each gave you a small quest, same style of the alcoholic tea one.

Where you'll help them with something more personal or with the tribe, maybe fighting a boss, or having to gather a bunch of materials you can only find in the other tribe, or something else.

And after you complete it, it'll lower a single sus point of the leader.

It would make the player work hard for a good ending, gives more wriggle room for different choices while playing.

And most importantly, it gives a bit more characterization for both, and I think would tie up things nicely.

Tho I know how hard coding is, so probably not, but I would at least like some little tweaks on Nauxus dialogue at the end.

I just hope everything goes okay

How did I get a crush on literally every character

I just wanted to comment to say how much I love this like all of your other projects!

Oh, and there's a small grammatical error when Lani was asking if Koa hated her, there shouldn't be a comma between "of course" and "I don't hate you"
