I don't know why I chose to talk to myself in the comment section. If there are any rules that prohibit creators from speaking in their own game's comment section, I won't do it again.

Option 1: Do not delete old files, just upload the new version on top (recommended)

This is the standard practice on itch.io:

1. Go to your project page → Edit project

2. Upload files → Select your new HTML file

3. Do not delete the old files, just upload the new version

4. itch.io will handle it automatically, keeping the URL structure relatively stable
