This is a demo for a JRPG style game about a band of cat burglars! We worked on it for about a year, using Game Maker and NES style graphics. It's heavily inspired by games like Dragon Quest, so if you're into classic JRPGs please give it a go and consider pledging.
A few features: The game does not have game overs, instead just going along with your losses (which sometimes changes the plot). Levels can be bought and arranged as the player wishes for each character. Instead of random encounters, enemies are visible on the overworld and are permanently defeated, clearing an area out of enemies rewards you with a special NPC that sells the best gear.
