Hi everyone,
we are looking for someone who can help us bring our game to players and shape how the project is presented and communicated.
We are currently working on a mobile arcade game called Gary Getman. The core gameplay and direction are already defined — we are not redesigning the game.
What we are looking for is someone who can help us build a strong player-facing experience around it and figure out how to introduce the game to players in the right way.
Current stage:
- We are finalizing GDD v.5
- This will define Game v1 (first release version)
- Then we move towards first public testing and launch
What you could help with:
- How to present the game to players
- Finding the right audience
- Building early interest / community
We are not looking for a fixed role with predefined tasks. We are looking for someone who can help shape this part of the process and grow with the project.
Communication: We use Discord for communication. We ask for a basic response within ~24h — even a short reply or reaction (👍 / ✓) is enough.
If you can’t respond properly, just send a quick message and suggest when you’ll get back. Dead silence for several days makes remote collaboration very difficult.
Deadlines can always be adjusted — the key is to communicate in time.
Important:
- We are a small remote team
- There is currently no full funding available
- Revenue will be shared based on contribution (Gentleman’s Agreement)
Our goal is to create a solid game, release it properly, and build a foundation for future projects. This role is not just about this project — we are looking for someone we can continue working with on future projects as well.
If this approach makes sense to you, feel free to reach out.
Krys
