We’re developing a stylized endless runner game for iOS and Android in Unity, with a strong focus on the main character and the world around him. The project is already in an advanced testing phase.
Our team includes a programmer, animator, and game designer. We work remotely, communicate via Discord, and share data through Google Drive.
We’re looking for someone who can maintain and refine the visual style of the game and quickly communicate ideas visually to the team. The role is mainly about 2D sketching — clear sketches for obstacles, characters, animations, poses, and visual decisions so the rest of the team knows exactly what to build.
This role is not about creating presentation illustrations or final art — we already have 2D artists for that. The goal is to help define the visual direction, support the 3D department, and keep the visuals consistent across the project.
We would especially value someone who understands the connection between art, gameplay, and player perception — someone who can think not only about how things look, but also how they are understood and experienced by the player.
There is no funding at the moment. Any future revenue will be fairly split based on contribution, covered by a clear Gentleman’s Agreement outlining cooperation and rewards.
We’re primarily looking for help on this project, but if the collaboration works well, we’d be happy to continue together on future projects.
If you’re interested, I’ll be happy to share more materials and show the latest build.
Thank you for your time and reading!
