Game looks fun, but doesn't work unfortunately.

Keyboard controls do not have the ability to attack. You can only jump around.

EDIT: Looks like the issue was that during the selection screen if you use the wrong keys you are given the "Player 2" controller.

It's still bugged a bit. If it's meant to cap at ~1.5 qi then fine, but I've definitely gotten the prestige to be in the A# range. Then suddenly, it slams back down to qi range.

If the softcap is in the ~1.5qi range then it does not work until you exceed this value significantly.

11/10. However, I had to make my own "Choo choo!" noises

11/10. Incredibly creative use of the theme!

11/10. Orb: Pondered. Although I wish I could make a lot more mistakes, seems like you need to get it perfect or one move away from perfect to move on to the next stage.

11/10. Now I don't feel so bad for that old sewing tomato I used to have. (I like the art style! Like HD MSPaint/Pizza Tower)

I agree, needs several gallons of polish before I would consider it actually enjoyable. Still, thank you for playing it!

11/10. I just ate a burger right before playing.

Oh yeah, I wish I had time to go through and add a proper tutorial rather than the pile of text fed one slice at a time. Thanks for playing

Thank you!

Thanks for playing it. I agree, I had to crank the values up high to make it even winnable :O

Thank you! Next time I hope I can get something out a bit more polished now that I know the engine a bit better.

Thanks for stopping in the stream by the way. After playing like 25 games I have to say yours was the most zen. Some changes to the controls and maybe camera stuff would be nice but it was probably the most relaxing game I have played in the jam. I hope it rates highly and I hope people get deeper than I could.

Thank you very much! You're much kinder than I am on it!

I REALLY wanted to redo the art assets but with the physics engine being what it is, I didn't want to risk it and make the game unplayable because a nut hit a curve.

Thanks again and good luck with your entry!

Of the games I played on stream, your team's was the cutest! I can see this ranking very highly. Thanks for stopping in!

So, I did a stream where I played about 25 different games and I have to say this was my favorite.

This is the sort of game I was trying to make with another game jam (not this one) as a runner style game and I found this to be a ton of fun.

It was really good and I gave you 5 stars in a few categories and I hope this game ranks highly because it deserves it.

11/10 "bbbyyye byyyyee!"

Eleven out of a maximum possible 10.

11/10. Oooooooh! They're FIREBALLS! Ahhh

11/10 Pewpewpewpewpewpewpew!!

YEEEHAWW!/10

11/10. No two people are not on fire... awww....

11/10.

11/10. Ecco the Dolphin would be proud.

*And so far this is my favorite game of the jam!!!

11/10 Extra points for slime-girls <3

11/10. I wish I had a better set of hands for my keyboard. *I'm not an alien who will steal your stuff.*

11/10. Wall-E would be proud if he were still alive <3

11/10. I love capys

11/10. *degenerate comment about shielded balls here*

11/10. I hate it when I get killed and have to find my own killer. It's a real bummer.

11/10. Most creative I've played so far.

11/10. When I go on itch I look for these types of games. Very compelling!

11/10. I need to re-read the classics.

11/10 Totally radical dude

11/10 - Pardner. Mmhmm

Good game! It might be easier on the engine if you combine cubes (Maybe a different color?) So there isn't as much slowdown when it gets to the higher levels.

Like if it's 0 seconds to mine 10 cubes, instead of making 10 maybe make 1 red one, etc.

Ah! Sorry to hear! Anyways thank you very much for the reply!

I'll see about cleaning fixing my own implementation to make it safe for others to use.  I just hope there isn't a lot of hoops to jump through for others to use it.

Odd request:

CyberTrucker mentioned he used this, and I have my own implementation of Twitch APIs (Which is just a complete mess because it's a re-write of an older script on Github.)

As someone who uses GameMaker Studio 2.0+ for my APIs and streams as well, I was wondering if I could look at your source code?

The reason is that I want to try and implement an animation system so I can swap out my current stream animations for something more modular and it might make more sense to just combine forces rather than have 2 apps.

I understand if this is a "No! Are you batshit?" because I know how self-conscious I am of my code but your implementation is probably a lot cleaner since it doesn't consider random animations. If this interests you, reach out to me at batshitgrotto@gmail.com.

PS: I hope you get that map.

After loop 1, I went right with energy and my stats just exploded.

Battles became almost instant. There's nothing for me to do as I'm just waiting for the boss.

I'm at 12000 CI with 2B Population, and 3.83T Military. This is fine if I can just skip to the boss.

Otherwise, I really appreciate a sequel to Progress Knight, it's pretty well done.

Also can't beat the tutorial... Cut the shirt and there's no other pop-ups.
