I actually just added a very basic credentials loading from a text file to the wip port, but some official solution would be obviously better :)

GL with your R36S, lets pray you will not receive some bad clone :)

Thanks, I certainly will mention the original game, if only because we have a port of that one as well, so people can enjoy both  :D

Hi Winged!

I am a part of team called PortMaster, which is a non-commercial project that aims to bring modern games to Linux handhelds. Super Pentagon works great and is a great way to spend few moments here and there on breaks :). I would like to ask if you would consider allowing us to include the game on our PortMaster website? If not I will just instruct players to download the game here.

Thanks for your time!

It is running android gms runner through this https://github.com/JohnnyonFlame/gmloader-next
There are actual arm linux ones as well, but those are difficult to use on hardware like this.

Alright, time to dig in :D

Huh, I bought the game 4 days ago here, dont tell me I was the only one :O

Congratulations for the release! I guess I know what I will be playing this weekend :)

Head to the PortMaster discord and post the log.txt in the port help channel. But if you are using CrossMix OS (or anything based on stock os), it will never work.

You can also count some extra downloads from here :)

One interesting quirk that seems to be limited to ARM64 Linux version only (it doesnt happen on Ubuntu under WSL2) is that the game will crash after hitting the heart with this error:

ERROR: Parameter "data.tree" is null.
   at: get_tree (scene/main/node.h:507)

It seemed to be related to this piece of code for whatever reason.

await get_tree().create_timer(1.0).timeout    get_tree().change_scene_to_packed(ending_scene)

It could be perhaps some timing issues, I have seen something similar before, though in Game Maker and not Godot.

So I got around it by sandwitching this between those 2 lines.

    if not is_inside_tree():

        return

Thanks a lot, I will keep that in mind :).

Hi!

What a stunning looking game!

I am a part of team called PortMaster, which is a non-commercial project that aims to bring modern games to Linux handhelds. I would like to ask if you would consider allowing us to include the game on our PortMaster website? If not I will just instruct players to download the game here, though I will still have to provide a patch to fix controls, as godot controller doesnt really work that great on these devices.

Thanks for your time!

Usually open source engine reimplementation etc

if you built an emulator that uses keyboard and use gptk with, then potentially. But we dont deal with emulators.

That is such great looking game and I love the CRT shader. I have a question, I am a part of team called PortMaster, which is a non-commercial project that aims to bring modern games to Linux handhelds. CRAWLSPACE runs quite well here and plays very well. I would like to ask if you would consider allowing us to include the game on our PortMaster website? If not I will just direct people here to grab the game here.

Thanks for your time!

Thanks a lot!

Thank you a lot! :)

Thanks, I think I used that one so far, but I will double check to be sure

Thanks a lot! We are using this, it is basically a keyboard / mouse emulator that is preloaded before the actual game. https://portmaster.games/gptokeyb-documentation.html

Greetings mr Bisdorf,

I am a part of team called PortMaster, which aims to to bring modern games to Linux handhelds. Unfathomable runs quite well on these devices and I had quite a lot fun, even though the game kicks my butt all the time :).

Thanks a lot! :).

I could probably just include the 1.2 version, unless there are significant gameplay differences?

Right now game files are NOT provided, it is basically just an AGS binary with preconfigured controls and launch shell script, but people have to come to this page to get the actual game itself. If you feel like that works better for you, we can leave it that way, it is up to you :)

Hello mr Vávra,

With a little bit work ARMOR FORCE TACTICS runs great on these things and looks right at home, especially on that GBA-lookalike :).
I would like to ask if you would consider allowing us to include the game on our PortMaster website? If not I will just direct people here to grab the game.

Yeah, I wish the original version was also portable, but while it is made in GMS, the data file is tightly embedded into the exe file, so I cant even try to run it :/
I hope BRAINOS will one day return to finish this, it is such a nice demo.

Thank you a lot!

Hello Regnslöja

I am a part of team called PortMaster, which aims to to bring modern games to Linux handhelds. Xess is a great take on chess and I was  pleased that game works quite well including the online multiplayer. I would like to ask if you would consider allowing us to include the game file in our PortMaster website? If not I will just direct people here to grab the game. Thanks! https://portmaster.games)

Thank you a lot :)

This will be a bit funny because of the previous post as my question is somewhat similar, but at least a bit more informed :D

I am a part of team called PortMaster, which aims to to bring modern games to Linux handhelds. Kobold Kastilla looks and plays great on these (it required a change from integer scaling though, it can be otherwise too small on some devices). I would like to ask if you would consider allowing us to include the game file in our PortMaster website? If not I will just direct people here to grab the pck file. Thanks! https://portmaster.games)
