I was worried when you said last patch, because I thought I might have gotten the wrong lcp file but I checked, and the last patch was just a few hours ago so neat I get a new build to check out. 

P.S. the redback somehow sneaked it's way into the traits again it really doesn't want to leave, it's becoming herobrine at this point, though I suppose it will be fixed when you do the grammer and spelling fixes

the IR laser makes a lot more sense now (I also forgot save target existed /: ) ,  I do like the new overclocked jammer it now feels like it's a futuristic version of those modern anti-drone hackers/lasers and helps the tarantula feel like it's oldschool given modern tech is ancient by lancer standards

I like the shamhats reaction grapple core power then the grapple boost, combined  with the hull cutter for maximum terror, I love the stealthy horror movie monster vibes it gives(also I just realized shamhat is the person that taught enkidu civilization and language, given the lore behind the frame it's quite fitting) I do think the catalytic spear should do 1 less point of dmg but otherwise it's really cool combined with the weapon mod, just being able to stab the enemy over and over with correct heat management with a pile spear feels good

also the license thing checks out I hadn't considered that, though patents only last 15-20 yrs I suppose whatever liscencing factors involved, all that being said most of the stuff on hercinya is turbo outdated anyways and would serve better as a museum piece then a weapon

HELLO IT ME AGAIN

Im providing feedback for the update

lets get the constructive (and otherwise) critism out the way first since most of the issues have been (fighting game announcer) EXTERMINATED

1. minor spelling issues -robberfly-halteres trait line 1 and line4-"allow" is missing a 'w' and "attempt" has been afflicted with lovecraftian body horror,-aireina-frame desc line 2-"interest" is missing an e,  -break out mod- lore blurb line one- "break out mod" has an 'a' inbetween 'k' and 'o' their are more like this but i'm to lazy to go into them

2.minor clarity issue- the line explaining the plant hopper has it's own die should be seperate from the rest of the sentence like the IPS-N kidd-

also planthopper the impose perspective desc just needs the lists of conditions swapped with the line explaining the heat gain, to be fair the way it's written now works correctly it's just minorly confusing to read.  Sharing of true names- minor grammer error- should be "their and your" not "your and their" this one's a bit nitpicky

3.the big one balancing, so most of the major issues are gone and alot of the mechs have a more clear identity (more on that later) however

*the shamat's catalytic spear,  seems overtuned compared  to catalytic hammer, it has more range can peirce and gets a special reaction reload, while it can't apply stun (arguably the best status to be able to apply) I still think it's too strong, I *think* that lowering the damage and threat range would work.

*the Tarantula's new core power is amazing, however it might have too much GM overhead, I don't know if allowing it to interact with all soft cover in sensor range would be busted or not but it would allow for teamwork.

*tarantula again; the IR laser is flatly worse than it's closest counter part, the swallowtails oracle lmg, because it costs a system point I would make it just deal 1 heat instead of a save and/or have another secondary effect to help it out

*the auto-trigger  system doesn't have a sentence explaining how long it stays out e.g. "until the end of your next turn", "until you move", etc

*True hydra's omega point contradicts itself stating it takes an action while being labelled a quick tech action, also the core power is very similar to the mourning cloaks core passive (that being a full action teleport)

*overclock jammer might be overtuned the closest weapon to it is the ghast nexus, I think the power to jam is a bit strong with it's current dmg footprint though maybye not, I'm not certain

now for the Part I've been waiting for, the positive feedback

I LOVE most of the changes that have been done, each mech now feels like it has a unique identity from each other and are a lot more flavorful in their protrayals

 the robberfly especially got a major glow up in that regard, originally it felt like it was everest mixed with mourning cloak and not it's own thing, but now feels like some high speed anime samurai, the hookblade replacing the system is kinda nice as well since you can place it on a nelson for extra giga-nyoom, I do wonder if weavestep is a balanced trait or not it's situational but I'm not sure how situational and is thus beyond the scope for my whiteroom math, but I really do love the trait

the tarantula is really cool too I like the new core passive and it's synergy with it's traits being able too block tech actions it also makes sense for the tarantula to have the auto-trigger given that well it's a spooder (: it went from one of my least favorite frames from HRA to among my favorite

I love the new lacewing kits, and the assault kit letting you boost as a part of it's swap action it actually reminds me a lot of pathfinder 2e's action compression for some of it's feats and monsters (this is a complement I love pf2e) also sniper kit feeds the range maxing gremlin (so does the incursor nexus)

airena still peak fiction top 3 mech at least

Lore questions

also lore question does Union space have copyright laws? I read some of the lore for the HRA and it mentions licensing conflicts but i'm not certain that would actually occur, brands do exist but I don't think they are copyright enforced and more able to dominate everything else by reliabilty and quality (and the fact that buying the product from another source might be risky due to scams) which is one of the reasons there are so many everest variants

I think the lore would still work from well the fact most of the stuff on hercinya is outdated and obsolete thus in order to actually sell things they need to make new stuff from it (also the whole enkidu thing could be that HRA doesn't really want to be associated with it's history and just the fact it's a mind warping murder machine) of course i'm not certain copyright exists in Lancer I just assume due to the nature of Union they wouldn't have that

also will we see more of murder_mansplain_mothman in lancer x ME?

1. + 11.:  Shank E.R.A? that sounds super cool, i'm excited to see what it and the reworked assault kit does!

3.) yeah the Airena is awesome and I think it's my personal favorite of the mechs,

but I did realize in my excitement I completely forgot about valiant charge in the pankrati talent which does the same thing but once per scene instead and have at thee is once per round which also kind of stepping on everest core power territory,  but judging by your response your already working to weed out that stuff

8.) Huh I didn't know that about british english I learned something new!

9.) hmm that might work although the gilgamesh exists and pretty much turns  any limited system into unlimited systems at LL 6 you could have gilgamesh II tarantula III ghengis I which does make a cool image but might be a bit strong in comparison to other things at that level, which is why I suggested maybye lingering terrain and smoke shells (smoke shells as a passive) be combined into a core power instead and have the current core power reworked into a system. but maybye that has it's own balance issues.

12.)hmm that one is tough, I as just thinking about on how to make it interact with how many targets it hits but I couldn't find a way to make it balanced

hello I hope my feedback is ok

1. the robberflies moving different dice abilities are really OP in the sense that it's pretty much Nelsons momentum trait on steroids, due to each of the abilities being 1 cost each you can essentially get a free backstabber bonus dice utilizing juke and then backstabber again with boost on a different target  or you can give your allies insane free mobility for free with rescue, I reccomend making each ability cost more then one charge of moving different and allow the robberfly player stock up on moving different dice kinda like the Ips-n kidd's jolly roger

also it's core power is the everests + it's once per scene ability but better maybye let it use up some of it's moving different dice to boost 1/per round in place of the free action boost and perhaps let it use juke as though it was a checkers piece while the core power is active? (although I don't know if this suggestion steps on the nelsons toes or not)

2.robberfly again, the robberfly ignoring engagement breaks the combined arms talent (and the cqb trained talent as well) which sucks because it's really cool in combination with juke maybye just make it immune to being stopped by engagement instead

3.  The Aireina is awesome (and i'm not a big fan of melee focused mechs),  being able to take a risk to force an opponent to use their reaction and then possibly counter feels amazing, the core power and the integrated weapon are super cool, and the concept of a fencer mech is peak fiction. (side note overload blade says "to force the target must pass an Engineering Save or become Jammed."  it should say " to force the target to pass an Engineering Save or become Jammed.")

4. the Frag shells system does not specify that it also increase the blast radius of the weapon it is attached too if it already has a blast radius, lesson of sharesight should be an invade, the Minds eye systems psyche tech option should just say "on your next tech attack" instead of the convuluted sentence it has currently, Impose perspective should say "the target clears the following conditions: Prone, Slowed, Impaired, Lock on. the target then gain 1 heat for each condition cleared" this makes it easier to tell what conditions qualify and the order of operations of whats happening.

5. the plant hoppers core bonus being able to lock on every enemy, and bolster all it's allies on the map, is a tad bit overtuned given that it has sensors 20, perhaps instead give it the ability to bolster all adjacent allies instead? it would synergize with some of it's systems and the greater gaurdian talent (i'm just spitballing, take these suggestions with a grain of salt).

6. the Antlions decapitating strike  is amazing, being able to stack accuracies for one big F you shot is fun and stacks with a lot of talents (in particular Brutal's Relentless if you utilize uncle comp-con with an innaccurate weapon to farm accuracies) though I do think it should have the effiecent tag due to the set-up it reqiures to actually pull off and it's limited scope compared to other core powers.

7.as for the Antlions systems there all good, but manual fire control doesn't seem neccessary to me especially since the lacewings active guidance mod already make smart weapons able to attack evasion instead, and I don't think it's other features justify it taking a system slot on the license, maybye make it an exotic system?

8. the tarantula's curtain grenades are misspelled as "courtain" also there description should read along the lines of "Throw a Curtain Grenade within Range 5. This grenade releases a smoke screen 3 spaces high in a line 3 path of your choice from its impact location. the smoke screen blocks line of sight but does not count as an obstruction"  to be more in line with the ghengis's havok grenades and the napoleons stasis shield which act similar (also I added the part of it providing soft cover because the tarantula likes making soft cover but if you just want blocking line of sight thats fine to) also also most grenade systems have a thrown variant and a mine variant which I imagine the miasma grenade is ment to be 

9. speaking of tarantula smoke shells is cool as a mech trait but maybye a bit busted as a system? especially considering it kind of hard outclasses GMS pattern-a smoke charges. I think this goes for Lingering munitions too considering the Ghengis's plasma thrower has an ability specifically to do this but is on a much smaller scale. perhaps allow the tarantula to create soft cover in this way if it uses it's core power, and then give it a protocol in it's core power that ends the effect but turns all of the soft cover made in that way into dangerous terrain, and then make jammer barbs a limited system instead? (this also gives you space for a new system)

10.the Shamat is a funny yoink machine, being able to drag your opponents into the abyss at mach speed is the type of ridiculous that I expect out of lancer.  on the other hand I can't tell if I like the systems as much, I definitely think the Thrust Booster Heat conduit is amazing for maximum nyoom and the hull cutter definitely gives the "this is a repurposed enkidu" vibes the other systems have cool mechanics but for some reason it isn't clicking with me, but maybye thats a personal thing? I don't know it's wierd, feel free to ingore this part.

11. Lacewing......... *looks at grossly over-engingeered rifle with way to many components strapped to it*... yeh this ones good.

but I did notice the assualt kit has the free action boost as well, my boy the everest needs to eat too they already have sagarmatha,chomo, and now the gilgamesh to compete with all he's got now is his special sauce don't take that away from him too ): 

12.Hihue, firstly being able to reposition is really cool and makes the railgun and several other ordinance weapons a lot more scary and less restrictive to use, the ability to choose between slowed and immobilized and getting bonuses based on that is great too, the core power i'm conflicted on on the one hand the bonus accuracy and damage based on what you chose is neat but I feel like the crit effect steps on the antlions toes feet things... a bit and makes it's big death shot feel a little less special?

its a ttrpg not a normal rpg which is to say it's a board game their isn't anything to dowload
