Hello Navypink I purchased your video game: Absolution; Way of the lost a few months ago and I installed updates but I can't continue playing after the demo version, even though I purchased the full version. It says "Dr Sharp's route is not available yet", if you didn't continue making the full version then I like a full refund, but if there is an error which can be fixed so that I can continue playing the game then I'm open for that definitely as I really want to continue playing this game.If there is no refund or help to fix this problem then I have no choice but to give a bad review, but I don't want to do that. I hope you can help me resolve this issue, thank you very much for your time, take care.
You are welcome.
It's alright don't worry, it can be burdensome keeping up with player comments.
I hope you are getting the support you need and deserve for your mental illness.
Thank you for your advice on different routes to follow to win the demo version of: "Absolution: Way of the lost", I will try the different routes you suggested.
Take a break from making this game if you need to or whatever the reason that made you came to a halt with further designing and developing this video game, when your ready to continue, then good luck. I can wait until its finished, I don't mind.
What is an Otome game, I seen a few other games here which were also called Otome, and I know this game is an Otome as you mentioned it.
Woooow, I love this narrative text-based game, it's deep with metaphors and imagery. Well done.
I read the purpose why you made this game, you seem to have high expectations of yourself and if you don't live up to them you feel like a failure - I definitely can relate to this.. You think you need to be fully productive by releasing games, if I'm right, to feel you are worth something; this is a harsh mentality.
My advice: you should make small goals that're easily reachable until you are ready for bigger goals, and whenever you fail be proud of yourself for trying, be kind to yourself - when you succeed you should treat yourself for your accomplishment/s.
Regarding your suicidal ideation, if you attempted suicide in the past, that in itself proves you were genuine with it because if you hadn't attempted then you would not have suicidal ideation and you wouldn't be diagnosed with suicidal ideation. A diagnosis is only made if you meet the exact symtoms of mental/physical illnesses. Having said that, one might still be suicidal but, won't actually try to attempt it and they likely have passive ideation. But no one should end their lives, there is hope even if their hopeless, their situations can improve with the right help and support, so please don't ever attempt it again.
I would recommend to have therapy, it will really help you as a therapist will be compassionate, helpful with no judgement. I hope I was of help to you, good luck.
What a fantastic portrayal of how dark depression is, you depicted it really well in your video game, "Insomnia Awaken". The monochrome colour scheme of this game also perfectly fits to the theme: depression, as it creates the dull atmosphere that you see in the game which you feel and think with this mental illness. You represent the monster as being his depression, that's very clever. A meaningful game, well done, I look forward to play "Anthology of fear" on Steam.
What a fantastic meaningful video game from the perspective of a psychologist newly working in a mental hospital, as she tries to get through to her patients -also get through to a girl whose not her patient. The mental illnesses portrayed in the demo reveal you have in depth knowledge of mental illnesses, including what disorder category they belong to [anxiety disorders, mood disorders etc...] and that's very impressive. I can personally relate to this video game, so I find it meaningful and intriguing.
I agree with dibsonnibs, it's fascinating to get to know the four patient characters, and that the different musics fit the different scenes perfectly.
I agree with indigonightmare; I also had that error when speaking to Elizabeth, replying: "Your not a problem for them", but I just clicked ignore and the game luckily continued. It's good to know with the newest update this error will be fixed.
One last thing, after trying twice after the first week, my character decides this isn't the job for her, as she can't connect well enough with her patients, is that how it ends because this is a demo or do I need to fill the bars of the patients to full so she continues working at this mental hospital?
Fantastic work Navypink, one of the best itch.io video games I played, keep up the great work, I can't wait until it's fully released.
P.S. Thank you for giving trigger warning that is in the fully released version.
What a metaphorical and atmospheric text-based horror game, you are a fantastic writer!! So deep is your story and soo descriptive that you don't have to say the "word", as the reader releases what it's about and how rock bottom one can become when being in the grips of it, all beautifully portrayed, well done.
I played Abide with me on Google chrome browser, it worked so I'm glade I could play your game. Thank you for you helpful reply, what is WebGL build by the way, I heard about it before? Yes, itch.io gives as an app, you can install it if you like, the video games are available like online. Your video game was really interesting and sad too, I enjoyed it. Well done!
