You literally ripped off five nights at freddy's, I want something original.

Dude, This is marvelous

First off the platforming is janky and broken. The jump is not smooth, and the level designs are generic and boring

Meanwhile the shooting range has broken collision and repetitive gameplay

yeah I should probably delete this comment.

oh whoopsie, never mind then,

 phew lol

yeah the spare parts are to repair your ship and reduce the penalty

(1 edit)

thank you very much. One problem I did notice Is regarding the spare parts. There's no display for spare parts and I think I'll update the game soon to be able to buy and sell spare parts.

I just researched, you say this game is worse than ljn's dr jekyll and Mr hyde.

? what does that mean?

AI has become so powerful that it can do the scratch programming for us. Should it be against the rules to use ai for a scratch project unless it's a theme?

  1. Day 1 of my Apollo Devlog, I came up with an idea for the 8th Game Jam (also known as the 3rd game jam I've competed in) I came up with the idea of the 1969 moon landings that doubles as a simulatuion/shooter game. To fit with the space age, I also decided to make the game in the style of the gameboy as a russian spaceman took a gameboy to space to play tetris. The game would follow you a rocket scientist building the apollo 11 to send the first man on the moon. You would have 50 days to build the most powerful rocket. the shooter aspect would come after you launched the rocket, as you would have to manage the shield and fuel while blasting Russian spacecraft to avoid wrecking your ship and causing a 5-day penalty repair. the nose of the rocket would be how fast you will travel and you would win the game if you reached 10,000 km. As you shoot Russian ships you would receive money bags, safes, or spare parts. the money bags and safes would add up to your point tally which would be the total funds you would receive after each flight. however if you failed to make it to the moon within 50 days, it's game over. There would be no password system however there would be a couple of cheat codes and an arcade mode for the shooter bit. However so far, I've only completed the opening cutscene title screen and design your rocket premise. Image

  2. Day 2 of my Apollo Devlog. Today I finished the Design Your Rocket UI and Designed the Blast Off Gameplay. AKA the 2nd game that you play as part of the theme. Here I designed the UI, as well as the speed and blasting mechanics. I plan to Work on the shopping mechanics and Cutscenes Next. While constructing the Blast Off UI, I thought that if you were to reach 10,000 km, there would be a boss fight against the Vostok 1 with Leonid Brezhnev as pilot. The following are some screenshots of the game.

(hugs) You don't know how happy this comment made me

Yes you get to have sex with the woman you got the most love points from. It's in the Beta 1.4 that's coming soon

to move use the a and d keys, press w to jump, and e to shoot

Wonderful, It was very scary and a great horror game.

pretty bad.

those objects will be used for the night 3 quests in beta 1.5

mcvincent would like to have a word with you

yes

there is no night 3 minigame yet

will be fixed in 1.4

don't press too many times or golden freddy will show up. It's to make sure the game can't be cheated

Done and done

Of course, but not while it's in beta as bugs need to be fixed and features need to be added. Beta 1.3 is close to completion as the custom night and new quests are in the works

really?

Thirteenth, with a bunny waifu by my side

meh

I don't care what anyone says, Bonnie is fucking hot

was this made in scratch? It's not a bad game, but Im just saying, it reminds me of Scratch

really? hmm? the more you know

it got deleted because it broke the rule of making the game during the jam

Don't be so daft

Boo

Yes I did, koopa games is my own indie made video game company, and the rematric interactive stories logo was a logo for another comany I made for rpg games. Not gonna lie, this game took development the moment I heard about the game jam, but I did't publish it until the game actually happened.
