Thanks for the great suggestions. All great ideas to add. Agreed with the connection settings. That's definitely coming as part of a larger update in about a month.

Thank you for the great ideas. Individual icon sizes, connection customization, and icon shapes/icon borders are coming as part of a large update in about a month. The text above skill trees is an idea that might take longer. Maybe this could be as part of a "comments" system, where text could be attached to nodes in general.
Thanks I'm glad it was helpful! Those are good ideas, I'll add them. There isn't a connect hotkey yet but there should be! I'll also put in the settings a section called default node/skill, where you can set default max points and the default icon.
I'm thinking about adding some way to mass edit nodes (node icons, stats) in general, although that will probably take a bit longer. Not sure the best way to represent that, open to ideas on the ui there.
i like this game! great job capturing the spirit of old-school mmos.
i often try other indie browser MMOs inspired by that era, and I find myself comparing their combat to this game’s - but they usually fall short comparatively because this game sets a higher bar. it feels great.
the combat text animations and spell effects have great gamefeel.
Thanks these are great ideas!
1) Good point, maybe a snapping feature when an icon is dragged close to parallel with another icon, like in Photoshop or Canva?
2) 100% I'll add that. Thinking custom fields with a customizable names, so people can add health, mana, or any name they want.
3) Really interesting idea. I'm thinking of some way to click "add tree here" browse a list of trees, then load a smaller tree into the current larger tree file. Any ideas on how you'd want to select/add the smaller tree?
Sure, happy to help. Would love to hear the feature requests. Added an open discord in the description, for anyone interested.

About the Project
World
We're building a classic RPG world. A world the player can lose themselves in. A world that feels like it has been there for thousands of years. A world you can't stop thinking about.
We're also building the editor that builds the world.
In editor, the UI is meant as simple as possible. Balancing customization with simplicity, heavily inspired by Tiny Glade's philosophy of making each tool have delightful interactions.
Art / Graphics
Graphics are an intermediate step to evoking a feeling in the player's mind. Give the player's mind just enough polygons to imagine the rest.
We want to invoke a feeling of awe and comfort. The feeling you got when you first played World of Warcraft or your favorite RPG.
The early 2000s RPGs had soul because developers could afford to create much larger, hand-crafted worlds using low poly geometry. This was possible since each individual asset took less time to make.
We can keep the low-poly speed of creation, but update the look with modern day advanced GPU shaders.
