Galaxy Pilot by BeDazzled

It's my personal homage to an old arcade game I loved named "Star Force" - retro shooter from 1984, I started this project a while back just as a simple Space Invaders clone and I endlessly tinkered with it to the point of no return.

Two main views, this view or the classic top-down viewpoint like the original game

That's it, check it out, have fun.

Hi, thanks, good to see you again, well I haven't done an android version for a while, I was trying to get this on my iPhone but I'm running into problems, but I haven't heard of AppLab nor Meta Quest 2, I suppose I should look into it, shouldn't be too much bother to convert, anyhews cheers dude

Hi, my name is Tony and I've just about finished my retro blaster entitled "Galaxy Pilot" - Galaxy Pilot by BeDazzled (itch.io)

It's very 1984... In reality it's my own personal homage to a classic Japanese shoot-em-up named "Star Force"

I'm getting old now, I'm in my 50's and I used to play these types of games all the time back in the day, I even ended up working for a big amusement company in the UK repairing these machines so you'll see all the influences of my life as a player and an engineer in there to.

I first started coding on the ZX80 back in 1980... I dabbled, on & off over the years but this is my first finished game, hopefully not my last.
It's actually quite fun, no big story or intro, just simple arcade action over 25 levels, lots of options with an on-line score table.

Check the game page out and leave a review please sharer your insights with me, I'd love to hear back from you guys & girls, cheers

End Of Level Boss

One of the Alphons

I had to make a quick update yesterday as I'd missed a bug where a player could not submit their score on-line to the "Hall of Fame" so now that is fixed.

I've also added a version for MacOS and Linux.
