I've participated to a dozen jams in real life and twice as a judge, and there's always a judging time of about 5 minutes, and can stretch a bit if the judges are hooked. It's my first time doing a gamejam online, so I have no idea if this is standard? If you ever do another one of these it could be added in the rules to be clearable in under 5 minutes for example. It helps games stay focused and polished instead of overstaying their welcome, but mostly it helps the judges' sanity!

Aw no checkpoint during the boss is pretty unforgiving for a gamejam, especially since we don't know what we're preparing for during the whole game! I had fun getting there though and had a few chuckles, good job!

Really good, it really felt like I went outside the intended "original" game!

Same here, great execution otherwise! I kept thinking it was the end only to see a new type of duck, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't supposed to end like that!

You nailed the spritesheet corruption look!

I lack the dedication to get all 10 shrooms but good job, I appreciate the idea of gradually breaking the physics! Small tip, if you're making a 3D platformer make sure the character has a fake shadow going straight down so you can have some depth perception!

Great shader! I'll link my gamejam project after I polish it up a bit.

I had some intense flickering noise in UE5 until I disabled "Virtual Shadow Maps (Beta)". It's in Project Settings > Rendering > Shadows > Shadow Map Method.

Lumen Global Illumination also adds flickering but it's minimal and turning that off really changes the look of the lighting and reflections.

Got 52 :)
Super cool idea! I told you my thoughts in Discord, currently with no "next piece hint" and 100% randomness means you'll eventually end up like this where half the board is the same shape:

Thank you! Originally we had bigger plans for both the graffiti mechanic and the police timer, but we had to cut it to meet the deadline. There are many other ideas that I hope we can take further in another project, we'll see!
