I come with a solution suggestion, maybe it may be very silly what I will say and requires a lot of evaluation, but why not leave the credit cards and starting using Bitcoin? In order to protect us. One of it's qualities is pseudo-anonymity, and governments/institutes cant control that currency neither its transactions.
For example: Fantia did that, they are working with crypto (Toracoin) to protect artists. Source
This cannot be overlooked, since they are violating the rights of the consumer and also many content creators and artists.
