Well, see, that is not how consent works, even if the app is supposedly safe, having a character’s body and mind monitored and acted upon without traditional verbal or enthusiastic agreement still removes some autonomy. Especially if the character doesn’t get to express that consent themselves.

See, like I said before, many games sidestep those issues, because however you paint it, it is difficult to justify.

Maybe it helps a little if I explain why this is important. NSFW-Games, most of them, are very flawed and some straight up evil. But it is fun being a little evil as a player and playing out your fantasies with some video-gamecharacter with no true feelings.

But if you start explaining consent this way, you reel them back from their fantasy and explain something indirectly to the player. And most will just ignore it. But we both know that there are impressionable people who will play your game. And while some magic app or the more extreme things happening in other games is not something most will experience... Consent is, that is why you need to becareful with stuff that is grounded close to home.

I hope you can see that I am not trying to scold you here or something like that. To make it short, I think you should not use the word "consent" and instead just explain that the app will only do stuff her subconcious would want. With games like these, just don't try to ground the ethics in stone. By letting them float more, people can make their own thoughts on morality and ethics. The same way most modern shooters don't try to explain the ethics of killing.

This way, you as the developer of this game, distance yourself from those get the wrong conclusions from playing a NSFW-Game. But if you put your own views into the game, you will be linked back to it.

I know this was a long read, hope you can see my point.

I did find your caricature's comment about consent a bit weird. Many NSFW games like this don't bring it up because they know they are morally wrong. But when you do bring it up and tell the main character that you need permission from the partner before the app works, but then literally don't do that and it works anyway, you portray a very flawed form of consent.

Currently, the way you are writing it, she gives consent because she is a pervert. But that is not how consent works.

I am sure you didn't do this on purpose. If I were you, I would reword this part.

Edit: Also, make it so the space bar can be used to forward text aswell.

He is. He is now making a free part 2 of the game. It's going away from 3d-models and uses AI-Art instead. Also removed a lot of cool features, such as starbase-tile-building (you just have a building square). No research and... Get this... No menu options.

Well you can't really call this a game... Also very disappointed that the first can makes splash the second doesn't.

Otherwise very well animated. I don't know if there being no sex is temporary or a rule to stay. Either way, neat little worldbuilding. The way the camera moves, the music and voiceless talks reminds me a lot of twilight princess. Anyway, well done.

Tiny Bug: You are engulfed in meat if you get the slave-worker ending. I think thats not supposed to happen.

Edit: Also, I found the secret entrance after in that ending its said its at the north east. I think it kinda breaks the game because they just act like you are one of them. And then if you leave and enter through the cellar you suddenly have to act against a guard and can't go up the stairs anymore.

Mate look at the game. You are literally a rectangle. This game is meant to be simple so more content can be produced. If you add animations suddenly you don't draw one sprite but 10 or even more depending on the quality. And so updates will take 10 times longer. I still recommend this game 2 you but if you want animations you won't find many good games in the NSFW-market. Especially free ones.

If I'm not mistaken "The Headmaster" has a good chunk of animated scenes.
Otherwise try "SpunkStock Full Demo". They move based on the beat.

So sad I managed to bring the plant to 0 hp, by wearing a gasmask and spamming electro shock slowly lowering its defense but then it hits 0 it just doesnt die. Took me a while to get there........
