Bugs Describe briefly and accurately any bugs (errors or problems) you spotted in your test

No real 'bugs' but there doesn't seem to be a way to die or fail in the game currently, if you don't manage to destroy the blocks and they reach your character nothing really happens, there's no consequence.

Strengths (visual style, animations, sounds, gameplay) What are the best parts of the game? 

The way you've used the mechanics is really cool, and I like the theme idea behind the knife throwing

Weaknesses (visual style, animations, sounds, gameplay) What is the weakest part of the game? 

The graphics need some adding to so that they correlate with the art style and theme of the main character.

Changes or Improvements Are there any (small and reasonable) changes or improvements you would recommend?

I think having a different block graphic which relates to the main character would be good, like some kind of food items for example. A background that creates an environment such as a kitchen would add alot too.

After the second moving platform it's reasonably difficult to make the jump onto the first spiked platform, the collision boxes working seems to be quite 50/50

The foundation of mechanics is pretty good, the theme and art is entertaining

I think the artstyle could definitely be refined, the drawn text in particular looks messy and is hard to read

Changes or Improvements Are there any (small and reasonable) changes or improvements you would recommend?

I think having a background with some detail that is on theme would bring the various elements of the game together better. At the moment everything feels quite spaced out and unusually organized.

One branch you can fall through with no explanation or visual clarification for why

Strengths (visual style, animations, sounds, gameplay) What are the best parts of the game? 

Walking animation is good, dark environment creates good atmosphere. The pathing of the enemies going down different splits of branches is cool.

Weaknesses (visual style, animations, sounds, gameplay) What is the weakest part of the game? 

There's little guidance to an objective, no explanation of an end goal or purpose, the background is just a grey slate and doesn't add anything to the artstyle/theme of the game. The platform organization could be better, it's very clustered together.

Changes or Improvements Are there any (small and reasonable) changes or improvements you would recommend?

Refinement of platform organization, Some kind of objective instruction / context for the player. A background that matches the tree artstyle.

The camera following the player is so zoomed in it's very difficult to view and navigate the surrounding environment

The art style is quite unique, it's an interesting combination of traditional and digital. 

Weaknesses (visual style, animations, sounds, gameplay) What is the weakest part of the game? 

There is no form of instruction or guidance toward an objective, the purpose of the player's existence is very unclear

Changes or Improvements Are there any (small and reasonable) changes or improvements you would recommend?

Zooming out the camera and adding some type of simple text instructions or objective cues would be very beneficial for the player experience

The second page of text goes outside of the lower border and can't be read unless the player changes to fullscreen.

I think the narrative is unique and has potential to be quite strong.

Weaknesses (visual style, animations, sounds, gameplay) What is the weakest part of the game?

The weakest part of the game is currently the spelling and grammar of the text, small errors such as typos take a lot away from the immersion

 Changes or Improvements Are there any (small and reasonable) changes or improvements you would recommend?

Fixing up the small mistakes in the text would be  a big improvement and wouldn't take very long to do.

Some coding could be added to automatically make the game open in fullscreen
