Thanks! This game was supposed to have a puzzle mechanic also, it was gonna be pretty challenging, but I was running against time and had to submit the ez version. I agree, it needs some adjustments, it's a very simple game. The mid jump I added just to add more difficulty (the radioactive cloud + another object together forces the player to mid-jump, but after that the mid-jump is all you need. It's a basic game that for some reason made me proud haha. Thanks for your feedback, man.

Hah cool, it was actually inspired by it. Was learning about 2d endless runner kinda games.

Cool game. The mechanics are pretty nice, very enjoyable. Just made it til 30s, that orange frog killed me.

Cool game. One of the best I've seen in this game jam so far. Congrats. The cards mechanics is very interesting.

Hm that's weird, I'll follow your advice, I'll put a start button instead. I thought it was gonna be too easy, I got carried away playing it, reached 12k score, after that it's just basically the same for a while. I'll make the changes.

Hi, thanks. :) At first I thought of making a desert in the morning but at night looked really good, so I changed my idea. Yeah something wrong with the background that I couldn't solve it, I have an idea of what might be, I'll try to fix it.

The first radioactive gas I've had a problem with it too, I guess the speed isn't enough. That's why I made the mid-jump, I thought it was solved, but this problem just happens a few, I'm gonna adjust the speed. I just don't want it to be too easy also hahah. Thanks for the feedback, I enjoy reading the comments.

Cool game. I was able to stand for 100s. :D

Hah thanks :)

Amazing work, man! Wow.

Hi, thanks :) It doesn't work in a resolution other than 1152x648, unfortunately. I'm gonna try to make it adjustable to the screen.

Yeah lol I was in a hurry to deliver it before deadline, so I faced it as a "0 bonus and 0 consequences" kinda option.

Hah thanks a lot for your feedback :)

Thanks :) I'll add them very soon, I was just in a hurry to finish my first game jam solo, made it 30 mins before deadline. Now Imma make some adjustments.

Yeah, it doesn't work in a resolution other than 1152x648, doesn't work on fullscreen yet. I'm gonna try to lock this resolution or make the screen adaptable.

Wow pretty cool, man, the fighting system I loved it, always wanted to do smth like this, a simple parry/attack system. Good stuff.

Following your advice, made some adjustments.  Now enemies come from 4 sides. Still quite some things to work. Thanks.

hah nice game, I just survived 92 secs, I was so focused on destroying the spaceships I forgot upgrading. Fun game.

Thanks a lot for your feedback.

Yeah some bugs here and there, I was racing against time to deliver before the deadline. Even the audio was missing as well :D Most of the time spent on this game was working on this good/bad game mechanic, I was learning by myself, trial and error for days, but gonna use this for other games.

The grey squared monsters were just a prototype, they were supposed to be zombies :D I'll work on this after I delivered in time.

Truly happy that people are playing, commenting and giving me feedback. Thanks. Made me hyped for making other ones.

Thanks a lot. :)

Wow pretty cool. I loved the drag and drop. The song is pretty cool. Reminded me of lemonade tycoon and good pizza bad pizza. Awesome.

Hey thanks a lot for your answer. Always wanted to do a game with this game mechanics. Glad you liked it. :)

(1 edit)

This is the one I've made. Been a long time since I make a game, but I feel proud of it :) I was trying a new mechanic with that Good News/Bad News options panel.  The game: https://ft-anx.itch.io/monsters-horde

Solved. Thanks.

I think tire squeal.wav is missing, so I can't access track.tscn.

This is Pacman on steroids multiplied by 100. Mindblowing. Great game.

Would you offer support for Godot 4? Does it change much?
