Heya! I'm not the OP but I also had the same issue as them. I played on PC with full screen and It first appeared when I discovered the "Leather Works Sign" around the start of the game and continued to stay on my screen. Although the (N hi) seem to disappear during cutscenes.
so I fiddled with the settings and apparently its because I changed the text from default to large. When I switched it back, it was then fixed :) I hope this helps anyone who's reading this and has the same problem.

Woa, I'm so happy the full game is released! And its f2p too! I've played the demos before and since then been checking the progress of this every few months. 
I'm a bit late hearing the news LOL but 
cannot wait to try this out  (^o^)
