It's a tricky one! The key is to get the black ghost to the right side of the room, which will require the white ghost to flip the bottom right lever.

Once the black ghost is on the right side of the room, he can stand on the button to open the white door and let the white ghost in :)

Wow, this was super cool! What a unique idea too: I love games that use the forth wall (like in-game cameras or perspective) in their solutions, and in this game it WAS the solution. What fun!

As others have mentioned, the scoring could use a bit of tweaking... but the fact you could choose any level made it so that wasn't a barrier for my enjoyment.

Would love to see some more levels, and I'm excited to see where this goes after the jam finishes!

Oh wow, this was such a fun comment to read! Thank you for spending so much time playing (and getting the high-score) in my game! I'm glad you had a fun time playing it.

Figuring out how to keep the player from cheesing the physics will certainly be a challenge - and the next thing I try to tackle. I have a feeling the scoring is closely related to this issue: I can't keep the player from cheesing the physics, but I can at least try to make it less optimal. I have a few thoughts on how to keep this from happening, but I'm open to input. Feel free to DM me if you have any ideas! (I will admit, I thought the penalty would keep the player from spamming platforms everywhere, but I guess when you have 1000+ targets hit it stops mattering too much...)

Also, I can't even imagine how awful your 'master piece' run sounded. I hope your ears are okay after that :)

The scoring system could definitely use a bit of work; its probably priority #1 after the jam finishes. For now, the score resets whenever you edit the marble run (so you can't discard your platforms to boost your score mid-run).

Glad you enjoyed the vibes, and thanks for playing!

Thank you! Comments like this make me smile :)

I played a fair amount of Orbit, and had a blast! I love game jams: I get to play so many fun projects.

It's so nice to hear about the people my game resonated with! It gives me lots of motivation to continue developing it, especially since it was such a fun game to work on. Thanks for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful comment!

Woah, I forgot about the incredible machine! This was a fun little reminder. It's a big complement that my game reminded you of that. Thanks for playing!

Very enjoyable game! Easy to learn, and has some very interesting level design - especially considering how simple the idea is. As others have mentioned, very cozy vibe.

I liked the idea! How things are telegraphed to the player was a bit confusing, but I like the idea of a graph theory puzzle like this.

Quite enjoyable! The vibe, especially music, were great. Good balance between relaxing and difficult.

Thanks! I played your game earlier today, and really liked it! The direction you took ended up being very fun.

Very cool aesthetic! I liked this one a lot, as another comment said it reminded me of papers please (mostly in theme. Gameplay was pretty different). Only complaint is that the audio was a *bit* jarring at times.

Good foundation for to build a great game! Gameplay loop is simple and engaging. The game needs some balancing work done, but overall very fun.

Wonderfully addictive gameplay loop! Needs a bit of balancing (if you point a green at a red, you get an engine that is very easy to exploit), but I played for an hour and was engaged the whole time. Very enjoyable!

Fun game, and cool puzzles! Really interesting and unique use of the time loop, which is a theme that I've seen a lot.

I would have liked a bit more forgiveness when it came to character collisions. Was frustrating to solve a puzzle, but keep restarting because you catch 1 pixel of your character on a wall.

Favorite game of the jam so far! Not really a bullet-hell guy, but the quick controls simple concept made this very fun.

Glad you enjoyed it! It was a fun challenge getting the music to sound appealing, no matter how the platforms were set up.
Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! I took a lot of inspiration from the Turing Tumble (a physical marble-run puzzle game), but wanted to see what I could add using the digital medium - and the music arose from that. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I added a section in the description about scoring: that was a good idea.  I'm glad you had fun!

It's been almost 5 years in production, as I started during Covid as a passion project. I work full time, so progress is slow (but steady!)

Thanks! I'm so happy you enjoyed it, it's been a very fun project so far.

I'm still releasing updates, so please reply to this if you have any suggestions :)

Yes, I would have loved to make instructions in the game, but time was a factor.  It's just me, and I started Saturday around 5.

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!

Thank you!
