The updates have just been bug fixes :) I don't have any plans for content updates at the moment since I'm working on my next game

What operating system are you on? Did it start happening after anything in particular or was it just random? To me it sounds like there's something going wrong when loading the game settings.
If you're on Windows, try going to AppData\LocalLow\frogmakesgames\A Very Ordinary Elevator Simulator and delete settings.save (and controls.save if it's there). If that doesn't work, try deleting the whole A Very Ordinary Elevator Simulator folder in AppData\LocalLow\frogmakesgames (you can back up your save files before doing this if you want, just put all the saveslot files somewhere safe). Also definitely try reinstalling the game if you haven't already.
Really cool game :)
I agree with you that our games have very similar vibes, they're both pretty eerie and have similar settings. I could picture both locations being right next door to eachother haha. Speaking of eerie, I was expecting something creepy to happen when I let the robot go to the bathroom a second time, but I guess it was just ordinary which is pretty funny.
The gameplay loop is pretty solid, and if you were to expand you could easily add more depth to it, more ingredients, placing a bucket to catch the leaky water droplets. You could get pretty creative with additional endings too, I tried to see if I could give a mouse a piece of cheese lol, I thought maybe there'd be a secret mouse ending?
Really good game overall, I liked it enough to hunt down the endings. I like to imagine that the facility from my game is just upstairs from the setting of this game, sorry about the leaky pipes :)
It's very difficult. I didn't get far but there was a seemingly blind guess/troll jump with multiple paths where only one was correct, I rage quit after that lol. The difficulty would be more tolerable if it restarted the level instead of sending you back to the menu when you died. You can also negate the 'heart attack' gimmick by holding both left and right at the same time.
hey just wanted to say thanks again for the feedback, I changed up the code for the movement and it should all be fixed now, I playtested at variable framerates and it seems good and consistent, learned a lot about rigidbody/movement processing in relation to frame time, ik its basic unity stuff but its better to learn late than not at all, ty for the feedback :)
