Thanks a lot for playing and for taking the time to write this up, this is exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping for.

You're right that once harvest power and multi harvest are up, clicking stops mattering and you can just drift down and vacuum everything in. Your small / medium / heavy idea is a really clean way to fix that. Depth-specific targets and weirder finds like wrecks and sea creatures are on my wishlist too, the deep sea deserves more surprises than it has right now.

On vision: the Sonar Array upgrades do widen your view a bit, but I agree there's not much worth searching for yet, so moving around doesn't pay off. That ties right into your other points. This is going straight into my notes for the next update. Thanks again!

Thanks for playing and for the detailed feedback, this is really useful! Yes, 17:38 is your total time to finish the demo. I made some changes since the last version, to speed up some sections.

  1. Fair point about the drones. They should spread out and leave room for your beams instead of stealing everything right under you. I'll fix that.
2 and 4. If manual harvesting and the research bar weren't clear, that's on the game, not on you. I'll explain both better early on, and I'll look at whether holding the button all the time is really needed.
  2. Agreed, just waiting for the bar on the crane parts isn't fun. I'll make that part more active or shorter.

Thanks again!

Thanks for playing all the way through! That’s a really useful note. You’re right that the auto collector shows up late and then feels weak for what it costs. I’m looking at unlocking it earlier or making the first levels hit harder. Was there a point where you were waiting on it, or did it just feel like a letdown once you got it?

Thanks so much for playing all the way through, and for the detailed list! 28 minutes is right about where I hoped the demo would land. Movement speed and chaining are high on my list now, and I love the idea of boss-currency weapons. The magnet laser that pulls in the whole map sounds incredibly satisfying. Seeing more of the ocean is the core of the game, so a permanent light upgrade fits right in. Out of curiosity: was there a moment where it felt slow or grindy? I’m working on the next version now, so feedback like this really shapes it.
