Hey all!
I made this for me. At least at the beginning.
I grew up on the 3D shooters from around the millennium — the ones where everybody spawned equal, the good stuff was on the floor, and the only thing you took into the next match was what you had learned in the last one. Nothing I could find scratched that itch on a phone, so I built the thing I wanted.
Then I finished it and discovered the obvious problem: it is hard to play alone. The bots are decent company and they are not people. So here I am.
It plays in the browser — no install, no sign-up, no account:

WHAT IT IS
Eleven arenas, five weapons, each the right answer somewhere and the wrong answer somewhere else. The railgun owns a long lane and is useless in a corridor. Ammo and armour are on the floor, so holding a good position is never free.
Bots on four difficulty levels, or Quick Match into a live room against actual people - once I have some people obviously. There is a worldwide Hall of Fame and nobody has to sign up for it.
WHAT I AM ASKING FOR
Honestly: play a round, and then tell me what is wrong with it. I would rather have one blunt paragraph than fifty downloads.
Specifically:
1. THE FIRST NINETY SECONDS. Did you work out what to do, or did you die confused? I suspect this is the weakest part and I would like to know how weak.
2. DOES IT FEEL RIGHT TO MOVE? It is the thing I have spent the most time on and the thing I am now least able to judge. It is different on computer and different on mobile.
3. ARE THE BOTS READABLE? They are meant to take the pads and go for the armour rather than run straight at you. Does that read as intelligent, or just as strange?
4. WHICH MODE DID YOU STOP ON, and which did you close? I would rather cut a mode than carry a bad one.
5. WHAT IS MISSING? If there is one thing from the shooters you remember that is not here and should be, that is the feedback I want most.
And if you fancy a game, the Quick Match button puts you straight in. That is the other reason I am posting.
Thanks for playing.
