The mouse is in fact cute. I think the biggest problem is that the game isn't managing the Z order, letting the mouse appear over some environment and props can help the space feel tangible, clipping behind something that you should be in front of feels bad. Making the player enter the room at the entrance they used would also help the game feel cohesive. I stole some bread in the beginning but I don't really know what to do next. For future games I also suggest making a web embedded version of the game, it let's players play the game without feeling like they have to commit to it, you'll see a lot of the games with a lot of rating are web based for this reason. For a first GWJ this is great, keep up the good work!

I like the idea, there's some rough edges but I figured out how to manage combat fairly well. I think player feedback is important, like when an appendage is destroyed maybe the button for it is disabled and greyed out? The game design is very simplistic and just ends up being "Choose the bigger number against the enemy's smaller number" most of the time, which isn't inherently bad but I think you might have some more depth in mind. At least you made something playable in time to submit, that takes a lot.

Amazing game, I like the metroidvania elements (pun intended)

I like the mechanics, I didn't read the comment about refreshing when restarting so there was some unexpected behaviour as I was playing

Very action packed, a bit loud off the bat but I enjoy the set up and the gameplay reminds me of the bowling levels in plants vs zombies which is nostalgic

That's high praise, thank you so much for playing!

This is weird

Quite challenging!

Pretty well made, the controls could be easier to use, changing between holding E and Right Mouse Button to do things was a bit strange to get used to. I think your house could stand out a bit more, a different colour or even looking a bit run down to show your financial situation environmentally

I like the visuals, I just couldn't figure out what to do. Reading other peoples comments and your replies I assumed there's side panels I can't see, so I tried to zoom out, which didn't work, then tried to zoom out before running the game and it didn't help, neither did scaling the window's height down hoping the game would preserve height and bring the width in, it didn't. Thinking it's because I use Opera GX I tried using Chrome and tried all the same and nothing seemed to have worked. Maybe if I had a second monitor I could've tried scaling the window width wise past one monitor but my browsers don't seem to allow that with one monitor.

Very polished, well done!

Thank you for playing! The characters are actually hand drawn in my sketchbook and scanned

The visuals are great, I like that each window introduces a new sound to the music, I couldn't tell how to progress, idk if it was random chance but I failed 15 times in a row, had to restart thrice. Maybe I'm missing something

Cool game, I like the music and it has some interesting mechanics

The music volume slider seems broken, but increasing past half gives it an epic metal distortion

Great game, the controls feel intuitive and the cannon is fun to use, the boat moves more like a car than a boat but for a game jam this is great.

Thank you for playing! I plan on finishing the game after the jam

Great minds think alike

Simple concept done pretty well, it's confusing what to use though since I couldn't get consistent results

Great art and the mini games feel good but it's not very intuitive what you have to do.

Great execution of a That's Not My Neighbour game, the clues feel easy to recognise but the controls can feel a bit clunky sometimes, but maybe just in the web version.

Very fun and very well made, the puzzles feel intuitive and the movement is smooth

Thank you for playing! The intention was that the knight is baby sitting and commanding the pawn, but I did try swapping cameras early on and couldn't get it done at the time.

I know, the enemy hitboxes were done in a rush, I honestly have no idea how they can kill you sometimes

Interesting interpretation of the limitation, we just couldn't figure out how the game wanted us to coordinate

The horse kept moving in circles

Pretty fun experience, feels like an arcade game

Interesting concept, a lot of interesting game design choices but the overall experience is clunky and unclear

Instantly got into a death spiral around some cherries, 10/10

This game feels very nostalgic

Great joke game, caught me off guard and kept getting funnier

Truly impressive art and world, it's very engaging

Very well done, simple concept and great implementation. The online leader board and ghost multiplayer is perfect for this

The art style is very charming and I appreciate the informative introduction. I had a hard time getting started because I got stuck on the barn but I eventually got it. The enemies were overwhelming though, maybe if I approached it with more forethought I could've dealt with them but it was a fun experience

Love the art style

Pretty good game, the art stands out the most and I enjoy the subtle lighting effects on the pixel art

I really like the visual style, the mansion is very unsettling. And I love the frequency mechanic

I like the pixel art style but it seems noisy and hard to read. I also couldn't figure out how to win

Hi thanks for pointing this out, I got the programmer to upload a Lunix build
