Hey everyone, I'm Andy, founder and lead developer of FR4CTUR Studio. We're deep into production on FRACTURUM: The War For All Planes, a 2.5D cinematic fighting game with 16 original characters, full voice acting, and a combat system already up and running in engine. Right now we have one gap holding several other departments back, and I need to fill it fast. Your percentage will be discussed as soon as you join the team.

What We Need

A 3D Character Artist to model our roster of 16 original fighters. This is the single most urgent open role on the team right now. Our animator is currently blocked waiting on models to work from, and our gameplay programmer needs proper character rigs to move past placeholder capsules for hit detection and combat systems. Filling this role unblocks multiple parts of the pipeline at once.

What's Already Built

This isn't a project starting from zero:

  • Working character controller in engine, walk, dash, jump, crouch, block, light/medium/heavy attacks, controller support
  • Complete Game Design Document covering all 16 characters, 7 story chapters, and the three planes system (Mortal, Divine, Shadow)
  • UI mockups completed for HUD, main menu, character select, victory screen, and more
  • SFX in active production, impact sounds, blocking, dash audio, all built against real gameplay footage
  • Original score in progress, Hub theme and combat music underway
  • An active, organized Discord with dedicated channels per department and weekly check-ins

What You'd Be Working On

  • Modeling our cast of 16 characters across three distinct planes of existence, each with its own visual identity
  • Working directly from character concept direction and the GDD to bring designs into 3D
  • Collaborating closely with our animator, who is ready to start block-out animation the moment models are available

How This Works

FRACTURUM runs on a revenue share model, no upfront payment, but a real percentage of net revenue from commercial release, backed by a written agreement covering scope, payment terms, credit, and IP so you know exactly what you're signing up for. This is a long term seat on the team through full development and release, not a one-off asset job.

Why Now

We're heading toward our vertical slice milestone, Chapter 1, Voltex versus Shadow Demon Guard, targeting Late September to Early October 2026. Character models are the current bottleneck between where we are and a finished, animated combat demo. If you've got a portfolio with stylized or semi-realistic character work and want to be part of a project that's already moving, not just an idea on paper, I'd love to talk.

Drop a comment, DM, or send a portfolio link and I'll walk you through the full project.

Hi everyone,

I am the lead developer and founder of FR4CTUR Studio. We are currently kicking off production on an ambitious 3D fighting game called "Fracturum: The War For All Planes". The game features multi-planar dark fantasy/sci-fi lore, an intense combat engine, and a planned 16-character roster.

Unlike many early concept projects, our creative and narrative foundation is already completely locked down:

  • Narrative Framework: A complete Version 1.0 story mode script is fully written spanning 7 chapters.
  • Voice Acting: We have an organized, active cast of volunteer voice actors currently recording gameplay battle audio and dialogue.
  • Audio Team: We already have a composer and sound designer on board handling our full soundtrack and SFX.
  • Gameplay/Systems Programmer: Already on board handling core combat systems, physics, and input handling.

🚀 Our Strategy: The Chapter 1 Vertical Slice

We understand that a 16-character fighting game is a massive undertaking for a revenue-share project. Because of this, we are executing a highly structured, short-term milestone sprint.

Instead of asking you to commit to a multi-year project upfront, we are building a core development team to ship our first complete Chapter 1 gameplay vertical slice (featuring our character Voltex fighting a Shadow Demon Guard). This will let us stress-test our production pipeline, sync our assets, and build studio chemistry before moving to the full commercial build.

🎨 Open Core Roles Needed:

We are looking for dedicated long-term partners who want to build a studio from the ground up. We are currently recruiting for:

  1. UI/UX Developer: To design and implement the menus, screen navigation layouts, HUD systems, and UI panel flows.
  2. 3D Artist: To create character models, props, and assets for the roster and game world.
  3. Environment Artist: To build and texture the game's stages and world environments across the three planes of existence.
  4. 3D Animator/Rigger: To bring the combat movesets, choreography, and short narrative scenes to life.

🤝 The Deal & Profit Sharing

This is a Revenue Share / Deferred Payment partnership. We will establish formal legal agreements offering a fair, significant equity/revenue percentage of all net profits generated from our commercial release on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and future funding avenues.

You can verify our studio's initialized digital infrastructure and branding at our official domain: https://www.fr4ctur.com

If you are a developer, designer, or technical artist who wants to jump into a highly organized project that already has its scripts, voice cast, audio team, and gameplay programmer moving — reply to this topic or send a direct message (DM) with your experience/portfolio! Let's build FR4CTUR Studio together.

Hey! Thanks for reaching out — 6+ years with professional libraries like Boom Library and SoundMorph is exactly the kind of experience I'm looking for. I'm building FRACTURUM, an original cinematic fighting game, and I need a sound designer to handle all the SFX — punch/kick impacts, special move sounds, finisher audio, UI sounds, ambient stage sounds, and more.

This is a rev-share project, so no upfront payment, but you'll be credited in the game and receive a percentage of all future revenue. Thank you

Hey! Thanks for reaching out — I checked out your portfolio and your work on Nebelmer is impressive. I'm building FRACTURUM, an original cinematic fighting game, and I'm looking for a composer to handle the full musical score — character themes, stage music, cutscenes, and finisher sequences (around 50 short tracks total).

This is a rev-share project, so no upfront payment, but you'll be credited in the game and receive a percentage of all future revenue. Would you be interested in discussing further?
