I like the detail on Kane's new avatar, but I like the face of the old Kane more. This one is too feminine looking to me.

You just need to be careful with your tone man. If you had come out with "hey Cactus it would be cool if you added a gender swap for Morgan" I would have totally backed you because that would be awesome. Instead you came out of the gate taking swings at femboy content and complaining about the gallery. That's what got people up in arms.
You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.
Bud, you're playing a furry porn game. You are a country mile from a normal man interested in women. How about next time you feel like being ass to some who has different interests, you instead stop and think about the times you've heard people trashing furries like you, because you're doing the same thing. You're insulting the developer, the people interested in femboys, and any feminine males out there.
P.S. Before you think I'm just defending own "disgusting" people, I'm also "normal"(straight) guy.
Cool game concept. I like what you're doing, and I love Velvet. I'm not a chubby chaser, but I'd chase her, lol. If you're open to suggestions though I think you're thinking too small with the fitness system for the heavier girls. I honestly think you should apply the system to all of the girls, Since you're players preferences and going to swing both ways for weight, you'd probably get more interest if you had an option for the fit girls to gain weight. You're already incorporating the mechanic, so why only use it on some characters. Having the MC be able to encourage the fit girls to let go and relax, you open the door to a wider audience. Basically I think going the extra mile and incorporate gain weight, staying as is, or getting fit for all the characters would help get the game out a more niche audience.
Anyway, keep up the good work. I'll keep an eye on the game. And don't let the AI hate get to you. It can be brutal from what I've seen. Distain for the misuse of the AI companies doesn't justify shitting on a real people's hard work and effort. Best of luck bud!
No the art adds a visual component to the game that creates interest that would otherwise be lost to those who have no interest in a purely story driven game. I'm this case the developer is using AI the way it should be which is a tool to enhance. He still puts an incredible amount of effort and care into ensuring character consistency unlike a lot of developers that use AI. People need to stop directing hate towards the use of AI willy nilly at the to first site of it, especially in the furry community where resources really are limited. Yes, the way AI generative art is essentially stealing IP is bad, but that's on the companies that are doing that. I would argue it's just as unfair to disregard the creativity of those who lack the talents without taking a good look at what they have to offer. Someone lashing out and calling it AI slop without even giving it a chance shows ignorance to the moral issue in the first place. Why would someone trash one artist to protect the rights of another? People need to stop this senseless hated and actually think before they villainize others who are just trying to bring their passion to life. Attack the root of the issue, the companies scraping the data, not the low hanging fruit of the people using the tool as designed. Especially when the fruit is self isn't rotten, and has been grown with thought and care. This isn't meant as an attack against you. I'm just fed up with this behavior of the original comment in general. It's just as bad as the AI companies and does no one any good.
Yeah I'm a big dumb. I figured that out pretty quick and forgot to update my my comment. Good news is that's because i was so engrossed in the game. I missed a couple of revs and this have made some serious improvement. My only suggestion would be to add RNG to the gender bender traits so you can get a mix, especially since your looking into the hybridization. That could be problematic for keeping pure bred monster if desired. Alternately you could add an item the prevent Rare Kin and Dual Nature from being passed on for a day. Reptilian harvesting could be a candidate for that.
Anyways I rambled a bit there. Your doing great! Thanks for making a fun game. Can't wait to see where it goes.
Love seeing you're still making progress, and I really like the new Sprite system. The hybridization was a really cool idea I didn't expect. I do have a question though, did the new sprite system reverse the ability for the offspring to be any gender mentioned in 40.1? I been testing around and I can't seem to produce a female canine with Mirael.
Liking the update, Have a few bugs for you.
Bulwark entry says you need 40 for the description, but you need 50
Sniper entry has [Cow_Name} in the description.
When building you house if you place material on the grid before opening the blueprint you lose the materials.
Danger fish applies to Phanelyn Enemies making them stronger but does not lower the counter.
I also think the encounter RNG might needs some tweaking. The rare enemies are too rare. I could probably grind battle for a full 12 hours and not get them filled out for Phanelyn. played for a solid 2 hours and only saw 1 spacebender/captain.
Keep up the good work. I was looking forward to this update.
If it help with the UI issues, battle and building are the pages I found that have significant issues in operating. No change between 2560x1440 and 1920x1080. Also accidentally found another bug looking at that. If you go into the build menu mid battle it breaks the game. you lose navigation and can't leave the build page.
I'm looking forward to the additions. Don't go too hard on tweaking balancing in the mean time with other mechanics coming out. No point in fine tuning a half built engine you know. You'll just be retuning once more cogs are added. Good luck I'll be keeping an eye out. :)
Played through it and experimented around. Awesome start, and it has great potential. Gave me a slight Overlord vibe I appreciate. Really enjoyed the strategic elements and I can't wait to see where it goes. Same for the story.
My biggest suggestion would be to reduce the duration of the infusion pregnancy. As it stands it's the energy cost and slow progress makes it not worth doing especially with the lack of experience gained during the pregnancy. Reducing the energy cost, or accelerating it to taking off a full trimester would greatly help incentives using that mechanic. Regardless the natural progression needs acceleration as well. You have roughly a 120 days before end game so it's not even possible the get through a pregnancy without infusion. Something like a 2 week/day natural progression and 3 month infusion or 1 month for normal summoning energy cost would make that mechanic much more usable. Some form of experience gain during pregnancy would help too.
That one is more of an observation then a suggestion, just noting it in case. The other current issue with the infusion which is that the summing RNG makes it just be diminishing returns at the moment. Even using saves as a cheat to reroll for good mates from the slave market and leveling them up, I didn't actually get anything better then the infused offspring. From my observations Willpower only seems to help with passing along the base characters stats and doesn't take into account the partners stats, because every combination only seemed to reduce the offspring's base stats compared to the better parent. I hopeful that adding additional partners to infuse will solve this with more variety, but it may take some RNG tweaking.
A couple of possible bugs I noticed:
-The population cap for the Hamlet caps at a 1000 before you even got all of the upgrades, and the housing seems to have no effect at all as of yet, for both the canines and felines as well as humans.
-Same for the food with no effect. Tried to go the evil route to see what happened. (Dark Humor Warning) You make a lot of money when you let people freeze and starve. Points for the realism.
-I did have a slave market girl randomly become marked for incest for some reason. Not sure what happened there.
-You lose all rewards for skipping the battle which makes gaining population difficult if that is the end goal, not sure yet.
-The Calvary is overpowered. You don't need a single tower to defend, and they didn't take any damage during the battle. I had to try to loose.
-I have to have to game in full screen for the menus to work properly.
-I noticed an inconsistency in the size of the character images in the chambers menu. They're consistent in the windowed game but full screen they are all over the place in image size.
Figured I mention these in case they are bugs and not just work in progress or on your radar. Hope all of this is helpful. Keep up the good work you're doing great.
Not fully sure that was the cause. I did that pretty early on, and hadn't actually run into Cola or Luna yet. Just my best guess, but Cola and Luna transformations aren't happening. It might just be a windows version bug, but if it was that option it's tied to the saves too because I reinstalled the game with no success in fixing it. Your companions seem unaffected regardless is it's checked.
Also congrats, you really got me on Luna the first play through, on the web version.
I think you're doing great. I don't have much to add. I like what you are doing. I don't know how feedable it is abut a giantess route would be sick. So far it seems like every route includes a little bit of the others including getting taller. One that focuses on the girls growing primarily bigger and getting strong/more curvy as well would be a nice addition.
Some feedback I have is that as it stands there really isn't much dialog with the girls aside from the meet. Adding in some lines for them for quests or challenging Luna would make it feel more like a team then generic battling. I'm sure a lot of people would also appreciate a shot description of their growth when the level up an transform. The NPCs almost seem like they got a little more love with that then your team. Just some feed back to help the player feel a little more connected to the characters.
Not sure if it's a bug but I don't seem to be getting 2X XP from the clown fish or lucky fish like the description implies. I only seem to get the banked bonus XP. I've tried feeding them a bunch at once, feeding the singles, and feeding them id battle. For reference I've only been doing this with the wolves and not the weaker enemies. If it is supposed to grant double XP, a double XP counter in the info box would be nice. If it's not actually double XP I'd reword the description to bonus XP.
Better yet, Don't. Ignore them and let it saturate in the beginning. only so many appear, so if you max it out with the little guys you don't have to spend a single cell on Enzymes. It only takes a little extra clicking in the beginning but is massive savings, both in damage and defense.
I should probably clarify this doesn't work if you intend to Transend or if you close the game. You can focus killing the big ones and letting the little ones swarm though.
A game is a form of art. If you create only what others ask of you then the result will lack the passion it deserves and be a lesser form of what it could be. I couldn't care less about the mechanics but I'd rather those be pursued then end up with something lacking heart.
It's your creation and your time and energy being expended, not the players. See to it that you get as much pleasure in creating the game as players do exploring it. In other words, do what you want, and haters can go fuck themselves.
Hope you can find a good balance. It's a neat concept, but I think it's going to be hard to balance, because you kind specific of need the hints too. I ran into "having both male and female traits." I tried Hermaphrodite, herm, Non-binary, nonbinary, intersex, futa, and androgynous, all of which were valid answers, but because it was behind the Patreon portion I couldn't even get the first letter and had to give up.
My best suggestion would be just pay gating portions of the content that aren't even accessible to the free version.
Sorry for the late reply, but I think I figured it out. I think it's because I'm a workaholic in the game just like real life and never actually went to the house at night, so I didn't get that scene before dating the twins where she appears.
For the Emma thing it might be helpful if her hint was the same as the others pre-second act; i.e. progress the story instead of go on a date. Once you mentioned a second act that's when I realized I was missing actual story instead of being laser focused on figuring out why I can't date her.
