Hello, I found this jam interesting, and fun, but I have a question about it.
I am a game developer, and wanted to ask: does it matter what game genre it has to be?
Hello, I wanted to create a little rhythm game based on deflecting shapes. HOWEVER, if you have to deflect a shape, you got to become the shape.
To deflect a circle, become a circle. To deflect a triangle, become a triangle. To deflect a square, become a square, and so on. Don't know how? It's okay, you'll be thrown into an interactive tutorial.
Oh, and be on an eye for a Double Shape, which you have to reflect TWICE.
Deflecting a circle while being a triangle gives you a strike. Missing a shape gives you a strike. Three strikes and you're out.
The game has 7 handcrafted levels with songs created by Hexxel (none of you know who this guy is, so...)
Can't beat a level? It's okay, that's why we created a difficulty selection that has 4 difficulty choices for you, Practice, Easy, Normal, and Hard.
You can play the game here: https://forcearcade.itch.io/symmetra
Hello, it has been about 3 months since I messaged you, and I wanted to show you something different.
A friend of mine had created a game called "The Test" which was a short little horror game meant to be played in a few seconds.
The game had 5 endings: 3 are bad endings, 1 is a good ending, and another was a secret ending.
The game had little to no lore, but overall was pretty enjoyed by around 300 people.
Recently I talked to my friend into working on a remaster together, and we did do such thing.
The psychological remake: "The Test: Reassessment" adds new lore, new voicelines, and has a total of 22 endings, all which end into a true ending.
The game would definitely last about half an hour to an hour, but worth the fun.
The game isn't finished yet, but I have made some teasers on the original gamepage. I believe we'll be finished with the game by the end of Fall or Winter.
See you around!
Hello, I have created a game called Twenty One, based on many horror games that represent a quota (eg, Lethal Company, REPO, etc.), and Blackjack itself, or Twenty One.
This game is unfinished, and it's free for everyone to play.
The game has basic Twenty One gameplay, with different and headbanging music. Tickets and cash are only saved during the game; afterwards, they are reset. You can use cash to pay for quota and bets.
You can use tickets to buy trump cards, cards that twist the gameplay a little.
If you fail to reach quota, you will be sent to the pit, a dark place where all losers go. You have to survive as long as you can until you lose. Afterwards, you are rewarded coins, which are a permanent currency, and can be used to buy tables and sounds.
The game is always controlled by a host, with the quota growing every level.
So go ahead and play the game, and tell me what you think about it (either by creating a video on it, or creating a post on the page)! :) https://forcearcade.itch.io/twenty-one
I shouldn't have messed with the save points, huh? Oh well! I'm already working on the remastered chapters.
I have also made another game that IS in open beta right now. The game is called Twenty One, and it's YET AGAIN another horror game, but with some psychedelic effects and (mostly) gambling.
You start with $50, and over time, you could get more than that.
The goal is to reach the quota in 5 rounds, or it's the pit.
The game is here if you want to check it out: https://forcearcade.itch.io/twenty-one

Ah, it appears I have overlooked the script where the green tile wasn't showing. I have completely fixed that, and the game SHOULD be good to go. I also changed a few scripts since some were a little bit off.
So, for you to actually have a perfect run on the game, I have changed some variable entries for where you left out so that way it shouldn't be equal to anything where you left off, so if you didn't mind, I have set everyone back to the beginning.
The game files have been uploaded (This took about dozens of minutes, my computer is living torture every minute), having it set to release today! I am POSITIVE that there are no code I need to fix (I'm not lazy anymore, hooray!), double checked them, and made sure they work.
I hope you enjoy the game and its scares!
I also decided to add a helping entity called Dreamie, a cheerful helpful spark dust, and she can help you anytime when you click on a sort of icon on the top right of the screen, but can't be available all the time, however. I wanted to add some connection to the player and her, but I wouldn't focus too much on it myself. This is what she looks like:
If I need to make some changes on her, just let me know!
For ingame lore, Dreamie is in fact a girl, yes, while the rest don't have a gender, except for Lil' Timmy and Him (both are male), so the rest are referred as "it," like all entities are referred.
Recently I worked on the first candle game, and I can't say too much because I'd just let out the gameplay, so let's just say it involves clicking and your mouse.
I'll also say the jumpscares are pretty scary, even I got spooked by my own creation.
Currently, I want like each chapter to be 30 minutes, so if there are going to be 7 chapters, the total gameplay of the full game will be approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. I also had like ideas on remastering a few things in Chapter 1, before I start on the 2nd chapter (I will also be taking some notes on what you have said on one of your videos for good use). More characters will be added, and some more game mechanics. I plan for the character "Flicker" to be in Chapter 2, the Guessmaster, Spyle (pronounced SPAI-leh), and maybe a few more. The characters already in the game overall are Little Timmy, Him (He is referred to him, and no one else), The Stranger, and the Shadow. Lore will also be introduced in Chapter 2, and so on.
