I'll have to look into pre-instancing, thanks for playing!

Thank you!

What's your OS?

Strict Rules is a short shooter horror game, in which you play as Scott, a simple guy who downloaded a game he shouldn't have. Something inside the game wants to help you, do you have what it takes to uncover the truth and escape?

Check it out here

It would mean a lot if you rated the game and left a comment!

This was really fun and unique!

Hello people of itch.io! Me and my friend have been working on "Wild Doom" for a bunch of months and now the first chapter is out. In the future we would want to create a total of 4 chapters, each with their own final boss.

Wild Doom (link) - is a wave-shooter where you play as Colt, a dead cowboy that got another chance from a deal with the devil. Defeat waves of demons, unlock new weapons and become powerful as you fight towards your freedom.

It would mean a lot if you gave it a play (it's free) and maybe left a comment, thanks!

Here's some screenshots:

yippie

i sure am waiting

The title says it all.

Fun game! But I think jump could be better(unless you intended it to be like that :P ), also(it's a little thing) but I think it'd be nice if the level automatically restarted when the character hits spikes.

This was really scary and I love it!

This is a fun game! I definetly think that it would be even better with sound.

Wow! This game is so simple yet so addictive, great job!

Cute game! And also pretty hard at first :)

Great game!

Awesome game! The characters feel really great to control and the art is very cute. Just wish it was a bit longer :)

Great game! The movement works nice and I liked the unique levels.

Fun game!

Wow! This is a really well made game, I feel like the shotgun could use a faster reload speed.

It's a fun game, liked the idea of switching between cooking and shooting asterdoids!

Loved the mix of 2d and 3d in this game, the way you implemented the theme was also really clever! The only issue is that the character felt a little bit hard to control, but maybe that was your intention idk. Great game!!!

Thanks for the feedback, I actually very much focused on the special object and almost forgot about the theme.

A fun puzzle game that fits the theme quite well! Good Job!

Good Luck!

Day 3:
The game is still using placeholder assets but I've improved the enemies(they now have a slight delay and can also jump to you):

For now we're mainly waiting for the artist to finish the assets and try to think of levels. I've also been thinking about it just being one big level with checkpoints. Hopefully I'll have more stuff to show soon!

I really like rogue-likes, excited to see what you make!

Hey everyone! I am godot developer and this is my third jam(first one with a team). This time I get to work with a team and so far it's been much more fun than doing everything alone! Our team consists of an artist and a musician/sound designer. Here is the idea that we came up with:

- 2d side scroller

- you play as a pin doll rescuing the witch that made u

- you fight enemies by healing to attack

- the lower hp you have the more damage you do, incentivizing waiting to get low on HP to defeat enemies

- (possibly have a melee and a ranged attack to changed up the gameplay a bit depending on the enemies you fight)

Some concept art that the artist has made:

As the programmer of the team, today I made a simple tech demo with placeholder assets, it has dynamic music based on your hp(suggested by the musician):

I'll try and post our progress on the game daily here, thanks for stopping by and reading this!

I use Godot!

Hey! Because of your feedback i've made these changes(they will be released when the jam ends):

- The foreground is now more darker

-The boxes are easier to move

-There are now level transitions

-They now smile when they touch :)

I think that's all the changes made unless I forgot,.

Very relaxing with that music in the background. I enjoyed playing this very much!

Oh crap that's one of the things I wanted to add to the game but completely forgot to, will make sure to make them smile in post-jam version. Thanks for playing! Oh and yeah the music was also made by me, glad you liked it.

Cool game with a nice artstyle and gameplay. Feels like Flappy Bird but more fun!

Nice game considering you've made it in the last hours of the jam!

Super creative and well made! I got a score of 1656 points.

Very well polished for a jam game! That last level was really tuff.

Great concept that's also well executed! I get lost in controls easily but that's just me.

A nice quiz game! Don't know what else to say haha.

Fun and funny game! Got all of the endings. Also that home adress seems familiar :))

Glad that you liked it! I will update the game with less buggy boxes when the jam ends.

Thanks for playing and leaving feedback! I  saw another comment about foreground and background blending, how do you think I could make them not so similar?
