Think the earliest versions of computer RPGs. If you ever hear the term "Rogue-like" its referring to the same Rogue game I mentioned. They were top down maps with ASCII characters (keyboard symbols) used for graphics. In all of them, the symbol for the player characters was @

I have exactly one complaint: missed opportunity to use @ as the player action as an homage to early ASCII rpgs (Angband, Rogue, (Net)Hack)

Liking it so far, at the moment, the DETAIL action/tone table is under "Rolling Dominion"

This is amazing! Thank you so much for adding some cohesion to our scattered approaches!

Possibly a future class talent? The ability to detect or pass through unharmed?

Or possible some sort of potential trade off to being locked down such as every unit in near takes 1 Harm (since it's a "shock" trap)

I actually came here to ask if you had any sort of open gaming license or name for the system? I'd very much like to see one made for something like Monster Hunter/The Witcher/Shadow of the Colossus. Even if that meant i had to make it myself.

Hey, is that offer for a file still good?

I was able to get the core, all supplements, including the new Patrol Zones and Sasquatch's Lone Light printed from FedEx into one book for about 25 for a b/w version. Full color runs about $80.
