This one hit very close to home as a sw eng myself. I really liked the art style and how it matched with the music. Could use a few more songs to loop, maybe even just one more :) The story was lovely and I really appreciated the realness of the different events and the mechanics on how to solve things. Awesome job!

I got 17177, have no idea if that's good. This is my fav so far, but I'm biased as a musician :) Art and jams were solid. Only critique is that it seemed the arrows didn't always match with what was happening with the music. It is super satisfying to know a run or part of the melody is going to repeat and knowing the rhythm beforehand and having what's happening on the screen match up. Hopefully that makes sense. Great job!

Wow that was so much fun! And, genuinely well polished and even with a leaderboard and tutorial! I'm impressed. My first thought was how it fits in with the theme of the jam, but that's not really a big deal. Excellent game, would love to see it fleshed out more. The ship flipping mechanic is unique and satisfying.

Really like the ideas presented here. It was really confusing to understand how the different mechanics work at first, though. Like, no matter how many trees I placed, only one of them worked when I "gather" on it. Some kind of tutorial would have been great. Admittedly, I don't think I made it super far due to this even though I really like the vibe you're going for. Will def check it out with some more polish :)

Super cute, loved the overall vibe and art. Having an image for the flowers you're trying to find would be nice. Didn't make it all the 100%, but enjoyed it nonetheless. Would def need some more music or a loop that loops a little better. Nice work!

Basslines were fire and went hard. I had a hard time understanding the balance between energy, and other stats and how each thing effected the objective of the game. Art was very cute and endearing. Music had some stutters when looping. I really wanted to do yoga and meditate and I didn't understand why I couldn't. Unironically, the first things I did in the game was doom scroll and binge videos games which cooked me and probably made the game way longer than it needed to be. Good job yall :)

(I'm streaming my fist impressions and will upload videos and link here once I do)

That's what I get for not testing the web version until after I up the enemy count like crazy lol I have no idea why my collision code is exponentially worse only on web (runs in literally 0.1ms in desktop builds). If you have a moment I'd like to understand the audio glitches so I can fix them! I haven't been able to reproduce them.

Anywho, thanks for checking it out and appreciate the feedback!

I totally agree with the pacing, I was literally grappling with it with a few hours before the deadline. Then I upped the enemy count and "time till boss" thinking I was just getting used to my own game. Welp, lesson learned! And, yeah def needs a tutorial for the flow mechanic.

Super appreciate the kind words from both yourself and your son!

Thank you so much! I'm glad the cutscenes seem to vibe with people, had no idea how it'd turn out lol

Yay glad you like the graphics! Was my first attempt at having an art direction and actually doing some of the art ☺️ And perhaps I could have toned down the enemy count lol

Thanks for the feedback and for playing! Yeah the web build had significantly worse performance than the desktop builds. Of course I didn’t find out like an hour before the deadline, so I did what I could lol

Really appreciate the feedback! I wanted to add a tutorial for the flow state but ran out of time. It’s a short game so you were close to the end :)

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for checking it out!

I really enjoy the mechanic and the strategy behind stacking the different effects. Really impressive getting a mini parser working as a mechanic in just 7 days! I also relied on summons and stacking ally effects to win.

This is a really cool idea. I kept blocking myself in accidentally, so my deaths were totally my own fault lol Nice job!

The fishing mini game is really fun! Unique concept for sure. Cool PS1-esque shader as well.

Thanks for checking it out! It was our first 7drl (and my first ever game jam).
