Whew. 11/10, I needed this.

What a beautifully Lynchian game you've created. I love the atmosphere of it; there's a feeling of eerie, preternatural urgency, mixed with deep kindness, on every page. I'm very impressed by the baked-in safety tools and game breaks. I think more rpgs should have these strewn throughout, using in-universe tone and vocabulary, as you've done here.

The investigation files themselves are just beautifully constructed. As I completed each one, I felt as if I'd been on an important archaeological dig in my subconscious; most notably, the last two files felt like an emotional magic trick.

Thank you for an incredible experience. These investigations have shown me a generous handful of strange and lovely things, and left me just a little bit changed. I'd never have imagined that a madlib-style game could do something like that.

It's been a privilege to investigate with The Bureau. May auspiciousness be seen everywhere; may suffering belong to no one.

Hi! I'm very much enjoying this game, and I've posted a bit on the unofficial subreddit. I'm having a hard time finding a functional Discord invite. Any help would be appreciated, since the subreddit is pretty quiet. Thanks for making such a compelling game, and maintaining community around it!

Beautiful. Thank you for your hard work and your vulnerability. Your honesty and courage shine on every page. I'm also mentally ill and trans, and art block has haunted me for years. The best work is never simple, so I'm proud of you for finishing this beautiful, tender piece. All my love.

Charming until it's off-putting, cozy until it's ominous. I'm reminded of the old walking sim, Dear Esther. Gonna buy a physical copy and shuffle it into my local library's stacks. Anachronisms like little windows into a different universe. The gradual descent into stoic incoherence. Poetic, grim, delightful.

I'm confused and intrigued

I'm transmasc, but I've definitely loved trans women. I see shades of the dolls I've kissed in this writing, and shades of myself, too. Thank you for this raw, sexy, honest, ferocious piece of queer lit, sister. I feel fed by it, and I'm going to recommend it to my trans friends of all genders. xo.

Deliciously hostile. Love it. Thank you.
