Thanks for the feedback! I’ll revisit the player speed after the jam.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely tone down the movement speed and add checkpoints after the jam (I ran out of time to add them before the deadline ^_^;). And I'll take another look at the slide jump; I had a hard time pulling it off even when I was testing the level repeatedly, so it might be an underlying issue with how I made the code check for input.
This is a really fun game! I love the dialogue; the bit with the king not actually talking was great. And the wishing mechanic. Loved the variety in the minigames too. The audio was great (the chicken theme was my favorite), but the music didn't loop. I tried to check the download version to see if it was just a web build thing, but I was having trouble finding the exe in the folder.
Also, I love all the easter eggs; by any chance is Denny the chicken a Failboat reference?
Thanks for playing, and thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely go back and add some checkpoints after the jam, I'm realizing that the game was wayyy more brutal than I intended. Also, I'm glad you liked the trailer, it was my first YouTube video so I wasn't quite sure how it turned out when I made it.
This is a cute game! I really liked the sound effects, they reminded me a lot of the GBA Kirby games. The difficulty ramped up pretty quickly; I wasn't able to make it past the boost pad section in level 2. The momentum on the character can feel pretty unforgiving. Other than that though, it was a good time! I like the art style especially, everything is very clear and distinct from each other. The deadpan face on the character is funny, and the visual of the whole world tipping over at the end of the level was cool.
This is such a fun concept! And the level of polish in the presentation was great. The credits were really fun to look through, and the character of the detective being shown through the notes on each item in the tutorial was a great touch. Also, that video pitch is great! I think one of my only gripes is that the evidence box feels kind of unwieldy; this is probably more on me (I'm kinda hopeless at puzzle games), but it took me about 5 minutes in the tutorial to figure out that there was more than one thing inside, and when I did I had to toss everything out to get to the weapon. The tutorial text might've also benefited from being more concise. I feel like the concept was a lot clearer when it was explained more briefly in the video.
I just finished and submitted my game! It's called Rare Form, and it's about a rare action figure escaping from the storage room of a comic shop. The main gimmick is that it's a platformer where you're avoiding an increasing number of enemies that chase you for the rest of the level.

If you'd like to play and leave some feedback, I'd really appreciate it!
