I really like the parallax backgrounds, those look sick. And the twist is really well-executed! It could have maybe used some sound effects when the player takes damage, but the UI is really nicely done, so it was pretty easy to tell all that was going on. The general gameplay tended to get a bit tedious; increasing the difficulty earlier on and by a larger amount would have made the base gameplay a lot more engaging a lot sooner. But overall, it's a really cool game!
