Nice and relaxing game, the UI looks great as well as the rest of the art, it all has a nice style that works. It was fun flying all the way up from the bottom lol The soundtrack was also very nice.

That's what happens if you don't pay your employees haha ... yeah it is a bit on the hard side thanks for trying our game and glad you had fun

This was great fun, really nice gameloop and progression of going around getting equipment and obtaining new weapons from combat. Combat was also very fun and I really like the cutscenes and the music. Constantly pressing A was a little strenous on my finger, but pulling off a nice punch and special attack combo felt great.
I think a little more variety in the combat would have been nice, and a possibility to dodge specials or something would have added to the experience.
A little note - the Hangar Icon was misaligned for me on a 1440p monitor, I had to click above it for it to open the hangar, in case anyone else comes across this issue

Great Project

Really nice how you telegraph the boss at the start of the game, did take me a moment to figure out how to attack him but it was a fun bossfight. Besides that movement and combat also feel good and are fun.
Camera felt a little bit janky and it would have been cool to see some things e.g. moving obstacles for an extra challenge to get to the Boss.
Great Work

Nice concept, I liked the limitation of moving the character, the shield and bouncing back rockets felt satisfying and was fun. It could have been fun to expand a bit on the escaping citizens, maybe helicopters that take citizens out for bonus score and some enemy variety

Neat and streamlined gameplay experience.

Shooting the mortar felt very satisfying, variety of enemies and difficulty progression also keeps the game engaging and fun

The shotgun felt underpowered compared to to the rifle (maybe less spread would make it more effective), I think some variety in the colour/shapes of the projectiles would add also some visual fidelity and make it easier to differentiate between different bullets.

Great work

Thanks for playing and for the feedback :)

I agree the gameloop could be fleshed out more, I think we ran out of steam towards the end.

We imagined the cockpit is located behind the eyes of the units

Don't worry too much it was still a fun experience :) I don't know if it only popped up after I hit Esc and there was no pause menu, had that in another game I tried

Impressive work for a solo project, had fun playing through this. Just FYI for me the mouse Cursor was visible during gameplay which made aiming a bit hard, maybe you can fix it before the jam deadline :D

Thank you :) I had lots of fun creating this and taking part in the jam

Sorry I missed the Awards stream I got the days mixed up and thought it was today :D

Hey, thank you very much we appreciate your constructive feedback :)
