Really cool and creative mechanics! I gave up, couldn't get used to the controls lol, but I didn't really go in expecting to. Fun aesthetic with the colour wheel and all that, one tiny little nitpick, the music was fun, but there was a noticeable spot where it looped, which didn't actually mess with the rhythmn component of the game, but did throw me off a little. Awesome stuff, great job!

A very nice story! Reminded me mechanically of those hooda escape flash games haha, although I think a little more puzzle would've been fun. The ending paragraph was really neat. I loved the flower segment with the ascii art so much! I realize that probably would've taken longer, but the ascii + text adventure game is such a perfect combo, I'd consider leaning into it if you make more games in this style :)
I didn't play your game (I couldn't), but good job trying to put something out there! You came up with a great name anyway, and your idea sounds neat, I love greek mythology :) Congrats on getting even a little close, you're doing better than everyone who sat on the couch doing nothing while you, being super cool and ambitious, made your game!
Wow, really nice models, congrats on the art! Cool premise, and fun! I think I had a glitch with the crit chance display btw, after I grabbed an upgrade it was showing in decimals and not percent values. I found it a bit hard to discern when to parry, but I think that's a me issue haha. Great job :)
Really cool idea! Sadly I was very, very bad at it...I couldn't figure out how to get to the inside tunnels, but oh well, probably just not a game made for me haha. Maybe a restart button would be nice, because some positions are harder to get to once you're already in a certain area? Great stuff though :)
Lovely little game. The art and rendering is amazing, and I adore the title screen so much, very striking! Also the photoshop style on the backgrounds works incredibly well. I know it's not a finished project, so obviously don't take this as something harsh, but I noticed the text messages were escaping their textboxes a few times, and you had one instance where a sprite doubled, as well as a little confusion w/ past vs present tense. Just something I noticed, not bad by any means. Excited to follow this and see where it goes. Good luck on your gamedev journey :)
Ah, sorry it is Caligo, didn't realize that wasn't obvious, I'll see if I can work that in. When she talks, her name shows up, and when it's internal dialogue, it's left blank. I was a little worried about the mother thing, so I'll see to that! Thanks for playing, and for the really helpful feedback, I'll do my best to implement those changes :)
Wow, this was really lovely to play, the atmosphere, the character designs, the UI, the voice acting, music, SFX, but what really caught my eye tbh was the backgrounds!! Like I saw the red reflection on the floor where those red curtains were drapes and I just lost my mind, like, it's so good looking! All of them are gorgeous!!
One thing, though. Pretty sure I got the worst ending (Unless there's something even worse). And I was going to go back and try again, but I accidentally pressed the new game button, and now I can't revisit any of my old saves, and I don't have the option to skip through stuff I've already seen either. I might see if someone makes a video on it, but with all due respect to this great game, I'm not risking carpal tunnel to finally solve the mystery. I thought usually saves carry through playthroughs, (even if rollback is turned off?) so a bit confused on that.
Overall, absolutely amazing! You guys deserve all the praise you're getting :)
when I tried to load a save, I got hit with an "call screen grid" error. Had another one (don't remember the specifics) when I tried to combine two things that couldn't go together, as well. Fun little premise, loved the animations, but I don't have the patience (or probably skill) for it lol. I've racked up like 20 deaths :)
Nice music, and that sprite is soo pretty, gotta admit that's what drew me in, haha. Love the custom buttons too, they look really good! Hope you update it with a little polish, I'm sure the jam deadline was tricky, and I'd love to see the rest of the ui, and see what else your artist can do! (Also, would recommend putting the language buttons in the opposite language, that other comment really saved me!)
