Nevermind! I got it to work with Sikarugir. Recommending this option to others in a similar situation. I used this tutorial.

I tried that just now, but it fails to run with quite the lengthy backtrace. It fails to initialize graphics, and if I use DXVK with dxgi.dll and d3d11.dll placed inside the folder extracted from CasualtiesUnknown (./Downloads/CasualtiesUnknown), then it says that the 'wine' command is not found.

The command I'm using to run the game (same directory mentioned as before) is DXVK_HUD=fps,version WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3d11,dxgi=n" wine CasualtiesUnknown.exe

I got the command from this Reddit post, particularly the comment by u/dropdatabase. Are you willing to help me troubleshoot this to get the game running? I am suddenly unable to even check my Wine version, let alonetroubleshoot.

I would love to play this game if it were on Mac. I hope that a port to that operating system is on the roadmap.
