very ambitious game both for the better and worse. There was to little time in this jam cor a project this big

very nice game with cute graphics and animations.

one present spawned on a room eithout doors and there was another that spawned so close to the door i couldnt grav because of the swarm

I loved the concept, great work!
As a small streamer I kinda whished that there was an enemy that spawned over time, just to make the game more enganging when there isn't many people on chat, or that typing multiple emojis in one message could spawn the same amount.  

Wow this is the most comprehensive and honest response to my game; thank you very much for the reply, and sorry for any mistakes, english isn't my first language.

Some intresting notes is that part of the gameplay is to get teleported and lost arround the map, but there are some landmarks that are fixed in every run, you can use them to find the pages.


i will rework that damn pit.


every time that you used space bar, you have clipped trought the ground? i will have to fix that either way, but it is a bit worrisome if the gameplay loop basicaly isn't working

Realy cool game. the health not regenareting adds to the charm of it's shortnes, and being a pirate is always cool.

my only problem is with the skeleton attack, i realy can't tell when i will get hurt

if it helps, i think i got it when i was going from 11 to 12, i heard the sound 2 times and was 13/12

thanks and yeah, looking at it now i could have made more levels explaning more mechanics of the game, but when i started i wanted to be only 1 level where you gradually learn what to do

dang, everything from the artstyle to the music apeases me.

I think i would like more if instead of having to click on the restart button twice, the timer started only started after you started moving.

you are suposed to kill the other guy who shoot you a misile. his it's a bit faster but there are hiden mechanics to speed up yours

some of the jumps require a precision that the mouse doesn't seems capable, making very awkward

I will try to speed up the sky section or the enemy spawn once i go back in the project

I really apreciate this critique. The fact that you can't shoot straight is a animation bug that i'm correcting atm.

Now about the view: it isn't just a gameplay balance or a wreid choice, a lot of things where programed into the camera;
Thats not to say that i can't make more distant, but i do have some limitations.

I'm testing giving diferent speeds to the ground bullets and extra lives to the sky to see if there is more way to overcome this issue; let me know what you think

The web version is just a old prototype to convein the idea of the project, the actual project you have to donwload

Dang, realy like this prototype!
I just feel that the stamina doesn't seems that impactful, specialy since dashing feels outclased by teleporting in most situations.

Straigth forward and simple.
From the art to the layout, this was a good presentetion
